BEST BRUNCH

I love brunch one of my favorite meals ever and I had to find a brunch spot in Myrtle Beach. Not only did I find a brunch spot in Myrtle Beach, I found the best brunch spot I’ve ever been to at Croissants Bistro and Bakery. I’ve had lots of shrimp and grits as a staple dish for brunch in the past, but hands down this was the best I have ever tasted! I think what kicked this dish up a notch was the fried green tomatoes that was placed between the actual grits and shrimp. Definitely a great southern dish, and I will drive all the way up to Myrtle Beach just to come back for this alone. I am serious. This is a must order for brunch!

MOST CREATIVE DRINKS

Looking for a themed bar with the most unique drinks you ever seen? I found The Chemist where this bar and dining spot is themed after a science laboratory! They were themed from the waiter (who wears lab coats) to their smoking drinks! The first thing I wanted to order was the crafted cocktails. You cant help by being drawn to the drinks because before you order, your cocktail menu is displayed on illuminated glass etched with fun themed scientifically named drinks. I was impressed with the names of the drinks and it really makes you feel like you are ordering from an exclusive laboratory bar mad for scientist.

MOST CREATIVE FOOD DESIGNS

This Art Burger is one of a kind, as each one is personally branded with the ART logo stamp each meal. Again its all about presentation with this place, when was the last time you were served a burger like this?  Also many of the burgers are named after famous artist so you could get a Monet, El Greco, Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Van Gogh, Kahlo, Sargent, The Dali and of course you can get a Picasso burger! Pick your favorite artist and eat is as a burger!

BEST WINERY

I couldn’t leave Myrtle Beach without finding a winery and one of the best wineries in the country is at Duplin Winery. They are popularly known for their Sweet Reds and Muscadine Wines. They have tours and tastings all day Monday-Saturdays and its a fun experience to visit to Duplin Winery’s state-of-the-art wine production facility, relaxed atmosphere and huge gift shop of all of their produced wines. My absolute favorite tasting was a Black River Red, so good I had to buy one from the gift shop! After the tasting you get a full glass of your favorite flavor and keep the Duplin Wine stamped glass.
