Kiwi x Kiwi Vintage Photo Shoot Friday 08 September, 2017

Kiwi x Kiwi Vintage Collab

I haven’t done a photo shoot in soon long, but this shoot was extra special. It’s a very synchronstic shoot as I collaborated with the local vintage shop in East Atlanta Village called Kiwi Vintage. Yes that is the name of the place and no I am not the owner! I wish but it is a collab match made in heaven. Not only Kiwi Vintage is my name sake, but the clothing in their is so my style. I was asked to do a collaborative shoot for them recently and it was very fun. I even kept my pompador hair-do that I had the week prior from my cousins wedding. My bridal hair worked perfectly with these vintage clothing so much fun! I looked like I belonged to 3 different eras. I even styled some of the looks myself – check out the photos below from the Kiwi Vintage shop.

This was the first look and I did style this myself. I wanted a soft, feminine look that was a great transitional outfit for the fall. Nailed it! I really loved the skirt a lot. The skirt was perfect and I loved that it hits above the waist and it was long and flowy. The off-white lace top is actually a lacey bodysuit. It was super cute. I paired it with a white cami underneath.

This looks was clearly my favorite look of the day. I loved this look so much I didnt want to take off the outfit. I ended up buying the skirt!

Sixties Sophistication

I call this look sixties sophistication. It gives me the era between the late 50s poodle era blending in with the 60s mod decade. I felt so petty and dainty. Where women were so effortlessly pretty and classy and didnt have to sell sexy. Highly feminine, soft and demure. I loved the lace and the skirt (FYI I bought the skirt).

I also had fun being paired with some of the other models for the Kiwi Vintage photo shoot. This was a cute color scheme to bring us into the fall energy.

Retro Rebelle

This next look is my retro rebelle pin up 50s look! Such a rocker bad a** look to it. All that is missing is me puffing a cigarette (I would never in real life). I didnt style this but its a great look. Once again my pompadour set off this look a lot!

Singing Surpreme

Last look is my 60s Singing Surpreme look. I also styled this I am so proud of myself. Kiwi Vintage really let me be creative but it was easy with these fun pieces. I was highly attracted to these teal pants the color just moved me to wear and I wanted to pair it with a fun design. The polka dots were a perfect match. I felt like I belonged to a singing girl group. I would be the lead right?

I loved Kiwi Vintage its a great place. I might be a little bias because the place has my name in neon lights, but seriously as you can see it is an adorable vintage place. Its a great vintage place for women, mens and home decor items. As with any vintage store, one of a kind items so if you see something get it, it might not be there next time. The items in the store is quirky but you can always find something to fit your personal style. So happy to be apart of the shoot and there will definitely be more collaborations in the near future.

Kiwi Vintage is also available online if you cant get to the East Atlanta village area. Their website is at kiwivintage.com
