i usually make some every year, but this year I wanted to take my holiday card game up a notch. I discovered Minted.com. The are a unique creative company that creates stationary, cards and gifts that are innovatively designed by community artist across the world. So custom paper designs note made by a major name brand company, but by real artists!

Minted’s community of independent artists and designers are located in 48 states and 43 countries. They are illustrators and textile designers, painters and packaging designers, marketers and stay-at-home moms. Some have design degrees, and others are participating in Minted competitions to learn design for the first time. They share a deep love for creative expression, personal development, risk-taking, and most importantly, paying it forward by helping each other.

I was so impressed with this and couldn’t wait to see the directory of templates of what they had for the holidays. I specifically wanted some pretty custom photo holiday cards, and I had more than enough option. Below are the array of photos

I used one standard photo I really loved I took a while back. It’s a side profile shot of myself that for some reason kind screamed modern holiday cheer that can go for Christmas or even a New Year themed. I was impressed with Minted.com array of pretty templates. So many creatively and beautifully designed and it make me smile knowing these were created by real artist across the globe. It was hard for me to figure out which ones I wanted.

FOILED OPTIONS

Minted not only have cute creatively designed cards, but they come in a variety of additional options. What sparked my attention the most were the foiled pressed options. It add a pop of gold or silver uniquely pressed into each card. I was sold. Many of the traditional cards had foil options as well…as you see here I experimented with a few of these options too.

The card I chose was a foiled option. I was sold and I couldn’t say no since I said I wanted to take my cards to the next level. This foiled pressed option definitely did that. I couldn’t look away so I know my recipients will love them too. It will definitely add an extra holiday glisten to each card. Look below of a sample of how the fonts reflect on the foiled pressed option.

Another perk of Minted is they have introduced the new Minted Envelopes. That means with each order, you can have custom addressing per envelope as well. They have FREE recipient addressing per order as well that I took full advantage of. This definitely will save me time when it comes to mailing them off when they arrive. For additional costs you can also have the senders address printed on the envelope and pre-stamped cards added to them.

I just ordered my cards so I will share which one I chose when I get them. Please check out Minted.com it’s not too late to get your own holiday or even custom New Years cards. Cant wait to get them and mail them out. This is definitely my best set of holiday card yet, I hope my recipients love them!
