I don’t know about you, but I am too busy to consider myself a health fanatic. No I am not gym crazy, I dont do 5ks, I will not lie and say I have a healthy food regimen or diet either. I am trying to be healthy…but life is getting the best of me. Cookies and chocolate is getting the best of me sometimes don’t judge me. I feel like I am on the go too much to be as consistent as I want to get in the “healthy groove”, but I am getting old and my body’s metabolism is slowing up; mother natures way of telling me I need to do better with my body and overall health. I think there is a misconception of what health looks like and how it should be done. It isnt all about daily cardio and sweat for fitness to be “healthy”. There are other ways to stay healthy and have a overall well being with other alternatives too.
So before you beat yourself up for not having a gym membership or if counted all your steps today and calories, I came up with 6 Easy Health Hacks for Ladies (Like Me) Who Are Trying To Do Better. You have to start somewhere right? I hope this list makes it less intimidating for you.
#1 Morning Detox Shots
Do you absolutely hate mornings like me? Don’t be so quick to grab that morning coffee daily, we all know how caffeine is the opposite way to start your day health wise. If you need a better way to perk up and help you detox impurities out of your system I highly recommend the ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) morning detox shot. It also help you burn calories and get rid of bloating so drinking this on a regular basis will slim you down naturally! You can make this as a full drink, but a shot will be the quick boost to get you going. You can use ACV solo as a shot alone or mix AVC, lemon, raw honey and a pinch of cayanne pepper to crank your shot up a notch. Do this every morning for an energy boost and system rejuvenation.
#2 Ginger For Periods
Raise your hand if you still get period cramps. I do, especially on day one and it makes me hate being a woman I wanna rip my ovaries out! Since that isn’t an option I decide to research a more holistic way to get rid of cramps verses popping an aspirin or ibuprofen. I figure out Ginger works just as effectively if not better than your over the counter miracle pill! Its a natural anti-inflammatory root that will help you get to the “root” of your menstrual cramping. Homemade Ginger Tea will do the trick: boil water, add ginger lemon slices and squeeze a teaspoon of honey – stir it together to get rid of your cramps naturally.
#3 Smoothie Bowls
Smoothie Drinks are so yesterday. Smoothie Bowls are the new black. There are people who supplement smoothie drinks as a meal, but a smoothie bowl is an enhanced snack/meal. Ditch your boring bowl of oatmeal and vamp up your breakfast or midday snack.
#3 Infused Ice Cubes
I love detox water and a great way to drink your water is with infusing it. You can using infuse your water overnight with any fruit, cucumber, mint, etc…but I figured what if batches of infused ice cubes were made. It would make drinking infused water easily, as the ice melted you will get your detox water this way! Simple!
#4 Oil Pulling
I know this sounds weird but oil pulling is a method to pull the toxins and impurities out of your mouth. People were oil pulling before there was a such thing as toothpaste and whitener, so yes this is an awesome way to improve your oral health as well. It will seem kind of gross at first but overtime you will see the prolong benefits. Just get a tablespoon of pure virgin coconut oil/olive oil and swish it in your mouth for 5-10 mins (the oil will get thicker in your mouth . The longer the better, then proceed to spit out the oil. Do this daily after brushing your teeth for improved oral heath.
#5 Vitamins on the Go
I think one of the most important things about being and staying healthy is making sure you have the right nourishment you need in your body. Taking a daily supplement in is beneficial. I recommend Centrum VitaMints for daily intake to start the habit of getting the necessary vitamins in your system. Take Centrum VitaMints Raspberry multivitamins any time of day with or without food or water to provide your body with essential vitamins and minerals that support energy, immune system, better metabolism, and overall well-being.* Good thing about this vitamin is that there is no bad aftertaste and it something you can take with you on the go. So if you are busy like me, you can travel with you multivitamin and freshen your breath at the same time (innovative)!

I personally take my Raspberry Vitamints with me, because knowing me I will forget to take it before I leave the house. So I love this concept of a multivitamin that doubles as a mint too! This fits perfectly in my travel beauty bag with all of my other essentials to go inside my purse.
Enjoy staying healthy with simple solutions like Centrum Gummies and Raspberry Vitamints which you can find these in the Walmart Health section where the vitamins are located. Make sure you get your money saving coupon on these here.
Centrum Gummies and Vitamints are great daily multivitamin. If you are like me horse pills are difficult for me to swallow, yes even as a grown adult. So happy Centrum made these alternatives to swallowing pills. The Centrum Gummies are also great as they taste like gummi bears. Taking my vitamins like a kid or teenager is fine with me. Gives me more incentives to take it, no excuse!
I hope these 6 health hacks inspire you with alternatives of a healthier lifestyle. Its not all about stressing yourself over how many salads you ate or how many push-ups you can do without fainting. Personally I still would love to come up with better meal plans for myself and take a consistent cycling class to be healthier and slim down. For me, that isn’t as easy as it seems when I am consistently pressed for time. So these are some simple easy hacks for health and wellness without the stress.
