I was invited to a special press movie event hosted by Screen Gems, a blogger dinner for their new film, THE PERFECT GUY. We chat and ate at an Atlanta local hot spot, Time Restaurant & Lounge, in Midtown, with the film’s stars, SANAA LATHAN and MICHAEL EALY. I met Michael Ealy last year for another media dinner, and this would of been my first time doing any media event with the lovely Sanaa Lathan.

This movie is a romantic thriller…one that focus on a very scary topic – STALKING! The main character (Sanaa Lathan) is stuck in a mini love triangle of an current lover and an ex lover who doesn’t understand the relationship has ended. I guess the ex want’s to prove that he is still “The Perfect Guy” for her…in a very scary and sociopathic way. We haven’t seen a screening of the movie yet, but that is coming soon…I can’t wait to give a full review!

The 45 minute intimate dinner was hosted by HGTV personality, Egypt Sherrod, who introduced a special clip from the film before introducing Sanaa and Michael to the audience. Egypt asked a myriad of questions to the cast including descriptions about their character roles in the movie, love, relationship & dating advice for today’s woman, and key takeaways that the cast wanted to express before the movie’s highly anticipated September 11th release.

I was so excited to meet Barbie and Ken…oops I mean Sanaa Lathan + Michael Ealy! Two incredible actors and I am really thrilled to see this upcoming romantic thriller!

Sanaa Lathan is gorgeous! I have watched quite a few of her productions. Michael Ealy ..girl those eyes. *swoon* But I have had a crush on Morris Chestnut for some 20 years. *be still my beating heart* This sounds like a fun movie. I’ll have to check it out.
