I met the daughter to the legendary Diana Ross! Tracee Ellis Ross, my curlfriend-in-my-head came to Atlanta for a Optimum Amla Legend Legendary Style Soiree. It was a fun-filled event at the Westside Cultural Arts Center in Atlanta to celebrate the newest innovations from the Optimum Salon Haircare Amla Legend Rejuvenating Ritual, a rejuvenating product collection infused with legendary Amla oil, an Indian oil used for centuries in India as a luxurious natural hair conditioner.

You guys have no idea how excited I was to meet her! She was everything I could imagine she would be which is fun, fashionable, and FUNNY! I was able to attend the pre-private media meeting with her and she even answer my question in detail about some great tips for natural woman. Even though she is a celeb and daughter of an icon, she does her own hair and gave stellar hair tips and I definitely took notes!

Love the curls! I have have stick straight hair with no “umph” at all! I can’t even get a curl to stay in my hair with an entire can of hairspray.
