Hey everyone. Do you know what kind of skin you have. Do you get asked if you have oily or dry skin? Well honestly I have combination skin depending on what time of the month it is (you know what I mean). One minute my face is dry, the next its oily. Depends on how my hormones are acting…do not even get me started on the condition of my skin pre-menstrual. It’s a pre-mess!
I am getting older, and I am really trying to take care of my skin better, come up with different regimens so I can keep my skin clean and youthful. I don’t wear a lot of make-up, but when I do I always wonder if I am really getting all of the product off of my face? When I wash my face am I really getting to the bottom of my pores?
I was recently introduced to Bioré new product line of Baking Soda Cleansers. The Bioré Baking Soda Pore Cleanser + Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub are power combo products that will help you really clean deeper than you ever had before. The main ingredient is the baking soda formula that forms tiny little bubbles that dive deep into pores, and expand to break up deep-seated dirt and oil, while gently exfoliating and softening dry patches. I used these two products together to help with my weird combo skin and check out the results for yourself!
Let me show you how I scrub-a-dub dub my face using both of these products together!
PROCESS I : Bioré Baking Soda Pore Cleanser
Step 1: Remove all make-up off of your face. Go behind your make-up removal process and use this.
Step 2: Dampen your face with water and only apply one pump of product in your hand for application.
Step 3: Massage wash the product into your face and rinse off.
Step 4: Towel dry your face afterwards. Go to Process II.
PROCESS II: Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub
Step 1: After you used the Bioré Baking Soda Pore Cleanser, move onto the Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub and dampen face with water.
Step 2: Pour the Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub into your hands as it should be in its powder state. Moisten the product with a little bit of warm water. It should start to fizz (this is where the magic happens).
Step 3: Apply the product onto your face, and you will then be able to feel the fizz on contact. Only massage this into your face for a minute or less. This is so powerful, trust me you will not need it into your skin for more than that allotted time.
Step 4: Rinse face off with warm water and towel face dry.
This Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub fizzes instantly on contact and it really got into my pores. What I liked about this product was you can see the magic happen the minute water was activated on it. Although it is a scrub, it definitely doesn’t feel like it when applied. It’s a real gentle exfoliation so if you have sensitive skin when it comes to scrubs, this is the right product to use!
Now I totally see the difference. Wow my face is glowing! Forget waking up like this…I am going to sleep like this! I’m sure I will wake up like this too…I am really impressed with the after results.
You can find both Bioré Baking Soda Pore Cleanser + Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub in the complexion care aisle at Target.
I will definitely be using this as my new deep cleansing skin ritual on a regular basis. I never felt a product that worked as well as this. I also suffer from minor blackhead breakout so I know this will be able to help me remove them and help them from forming in the future.
My pores feel super free and I definitely look refreshed. After I used the product someone told me today that my dimples were more prominent today! Serious, I never had anyone tell me about my dimples (because they are not as prominent) but the person told me today she said I looked a little different. I am going to give a little credit to the Bioré Baking Soda Cleansers!
This looks like a great product. I have the same problem. My skin can be dry sometimes and oily the next. It’s annoying. I love your duckie though!
You are so cute and your skin really does look awesome. I have loved Biore products for many years 🙂
Thanks so much! I DO have combination skin, and I’m never really happy with how I’ve been cleaning it. I can’t wait to try this.
Its always great to find cleansers that are chemical free, so this one will be a must try! Baking soda is gentle on sensitive skin too, this will be a product worth trying for sure! Thank you for sharing!
Biore is such a reputable name brand! I really need to find a skin care regimen that works for me. Now that I’m getting older, it’s definitely time to make it a priority.
We have a face cleaner that we use every day too. My husband has pretty bad acne and so we need to use something that strong enough that will kill the bacteria
These sound like great products. I have sensitive skin so I wash my face with soap and water.
I can imagine this would make your face feel so fresh! I love using baking soda in beauty and other home products.
I am all about a good face cleanser. I have heard good things about Biore so I need to check this out.
This sounds like an awesome cleansing routine. It sounds super effective for leaning those pores.
I have been looking for a new facial soap. I am going to give this a try!
I have dry skin and I need to moisturize all the time. This product seems to be a good choice.
I love Biore predicts but I haven’t seen the line with baking soda!! I need to check this one out!!
I have combination skin but I also have very sensitive skin. Do you think these products would be too “harsh” for someone with sensitive skin? I’m still on the lookout and always open to new ideas. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!
I love the Biore brand, but I haven’t tried this one, yet. I will look for this.
I for some reason only knew this brand has stuff for blackheads, forget what it was that I saw years ago for a commercial. I will have to look at this, as I age my face needs more of a scrub it seems to keep up the fresh, soft look!
I’ve heard such great things about this line from Biore. I love that the product fizzes. It looks like it does a great job of cleansing the face!
I haven’t tried any Biore products. The baking soda sounds fantastic.
I love a good face scrub. I have very oily skin that I over-wash and that makes it dry. I need to give this scrub a try.
I’m sitting here right now with a mask on my face, pre-menstrual and OVER these incessant breakouts on dry skin! Ugh! I have combo skin, and I swear it’s so difficult. If I don’t moisturize, my face acts like it’s going to disintegrate. If I moisturize, she acts like I submerged my face in grease. I can’t stand it! I scrub often, get hydra facials and I’m taking advantage of the massive Korean beauty market by applying a mask at least twice weekly. Once this weather gets better we’ll see if it helps. Your skin looks beautiful.
This looks like an awesome skincare line! I need to find a skincare regimen that I really love.

These Bioré products will be perfect for my Daughter and I. I am excited to try the Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub.
I’m so impressed with what baking soda can do. I haven’t seen in available in a product like this yet. Can’t wait to give it a try.
I’m kind of obsessed with Biore products but I have never tried this one before. I will have to give it a TRY! Looks awesome.
I never thought about baking soda for your face? This sounds like a neat product
I have a combo skin too. I have oily skin when its hot and dry on colder months. It’s nice that there’s biore to improve the skin.
This is really cute, I’ve not tried Biore in many years. I have pretty dry skin during the winter months. It is pretty good in the warmer months.
I use Philosophy skin care products and so far so good. I also use a makeup remover prior to cleansing my skin. I don’t wear makeup daily so my day to day routine is rather simple.
I’ve always loved Biore products. These sound like they’d be really good with the skin. I’ll have to check for these products.
I’ve never heard of using baking soda in face wash, but seems legit! I’ve been using Proactiv forever, and I’m kind of a loyalist.
I am loving these new foaming scrubs. I have tried one high end that I absouletly love, will have to add this to try!
Wow your skin is glowing afterwards! I love the idea of the scrub. My skin could use something like this.
My skin is quite oily, and I feel like it would benefit from these products! I haven’t heard of this line before, but I’ll definitely be checking them out.
I’m trying Meaningful Beauty right now but love Dermalogica! I also love Cerave and Cetaphil problems. These are great for my acne prone skin.
I would baking soda would be a great, gentle scrubbing agent. I think people can over scrub their skin which makes it over react and a bad cycle of skincare begins.
You look great! Your skin really looks awesome! I love Biore products!
Your skin looks great. Baking Soda sounds super clean.
I’ve never used any of Biore’s products other then the blackhead removal stripes, but I would live to check this product out.
Looks like an awesome product range! I wish we have them here 😀
I really need to do a face scrub more often. I think that one of the reasons I don’t is because they are too harsh. This one sounds really gentle, I like that. Thanks for sharing!

I don’t have a normal cleansing routine really and I do have the combo skin. These both sound like great products and I would love to try them out. Thanks for a great review.
That product looks and sounds awesome. I would love to try this on my face.
I had never heard of this product, thanks for sharing. I am always looking for good skin products because my face looks like I am still going through puberty sometimes.
Wow, this looks like an awesome product. Wouldn’t mind trying it! Hope it comes to my country soon.
I have never used this product before but sounds like a great to have! I will check this out!!
Cool post! Love how you broke down all the steps. I don’t use Biore since I’m brand loyal to my current natural skin care line, but seems like a good product.
Thanks for such a detailed review! I love how the product scrubs and cleanses… It sounds like something I should try out sometime!
I love Biore!! I have not seen this new face soap, sounds like it would be perfect for my sking!
This looks like a great product. I am going to definitely check it out! I don’t normally do my own facial scrubs but why not try? Thanks for sharing!
Great post. I am going to have to trying to find these for my little one. She’s got sensitive skin.
i just saw this in walgreens and have been dying to try it!!!
I am always searching for new products and I love to try them, this one looks like something I should try
Right now I’m using a hydrating skin care line to add as much moisture as possible during the colder months. But I’d love to try these out to make sure I’m exfoliating and bring fresh skin on board.
Ooooo this line sounds pretty fabulous! I’m all about baking soda products usually so I would think this would be a win!
I was just having a conv with my gfs about their skin care routine. I have been having a bit of dry skin and wanted a light daily moisturizer (as I need the moisture but don’t want to clog my pores!).
This sounds like a great product. I’m all for gentle exfoliation. I used to use the Biore nose strips. Those worked like magic. I’m sure this is awesome too.
I too have combo skin and even worse during that time of the month. I am not familiar with this product or brand and this is the first time I am seeing face products containing baking soda
Baking soda is good for everything and I’ve heard great things about Biore. I can definitely tell the different and love the soft glow that it gave your skin. Thanks for sharing, will definitely have to check it out.
