{Kiwi The Beauty Treats} Eyebrow Waxing & Tinting at Candy Brow Bar Friday 06 June, 2014
I want to share with you all some beauty treats talking about eyebrows. Now being a beauty blogger, I just wanna let you all know that doesn’t not mean I know how to “beat face” and perfect my make-up regimen. That is not the case at all. I am actually a natural girl when it comes to my beauty regimens and I even do things the traditional ways, especially when it comes to my own eyebrows.
Eyebrows lately in the beauty world has lately been a big deal, with all the make-up and beauty enthusiast doing their own “eyebrow fill-in”. I, Kiwi, will admit to you all right now, I have NOT perfected the eyebrow fill. Nope, so instead I still just opt to get my eyebrows waxed. I was given the opportunity recently to get my eyebrow waxed and a new concept to me, eyebrow tinting at the Candy Brow Bar. So you may ask, what is eyebrow tinting?
Eyebrow tint is a form of semi-permanent hair-dye formulated for use on the eyebrows to give it a more authentic arch and appearance between touch ups. I had a great opportunity to get my brows waxed and tinted by Panzie (aka Candy) Richardson, owner of Candy Brow Bar in Decatur,GA. Below are the photo before and after of my candy brow waxing and tinting experience.
WAXING & TINTING PROCESS
The final results I LOVED! It looked very natural, and you can’t even tell they are tinted. I know at the second step I got a little worried because the tint was so dark (and my eyebrows were scary!), but after the adjustment the color blended in perfectly. Candy waxed my eyebrows where it didn’t look too dramatic, but cleanly arched and shaped. She took pride and delicate precaution and precision on the actual arching of my brows (which you can see the entire process in the video below). I definitely recommend Candy and getting your own eyebrows tinted for your next personal beauty touch up. If you don’t live in Atlanta, see if you can find a specialist that can tint your brows at your local spa/salon.

You look lovely! I’ve never had my brows tinted before. I talked to a makeup artist recently and she recommended using a pencil to fill them in – I do that sometimes when I dye my hair so that they match (lol) but it’s not something that’s a usual part of my routine. I use a brush to keep them in place when I finish my makeup but that’s about it, I should probably start doing more with them, haha!
ii can’t imagine tinting my brows. i mean, i can now that i’ve seen your video and stuff. but it wasn’t something i’d thought about before. i need to have a do-over and start fresh with my brows. sigh.
Getting my eyebrows done is one of my “me” splurges. I get mine threaded, but never thought about having them tinted. Thanks for the suggestions. Yours came out great.
Nice, what a difference. My brows are pretty skimpy. Not to bad, but I have scars on each side where I lost the brow. I have never even thought of getting them done. I may be inspired.

I have a friend that SWEARS by eye brow tinting. I have not ever tried it, but I have noticed more and more RED hairs in my eyebrows lately.. maybe I should give this a try and get back that beautiful brown I loved for so many years!

I don’t get them tinted. I have had them shaped up before. I need it again. I get it done like once every 2 years. Bad, right?
