Pijiu Belly Atlanta Midtown Brunch with Bloggers Sunday 26 July, 2015
So you all know how much I love brunch! I had a great opportunity to try out a new brunch spot in Midtown Atlanta with a few bloggers called Pijiu Belly and I loved it.
So it’s a cool and quirky spot that specializes in their brunch and brews! The ambiance is quaint but adorable…but lets check out the food!
I dont know what wrong right with me lately but all I wanna eat for brunch is chicken and waffles! So of course this was my selection and let me just say I was overly impressed! It was rotisseried and halfed chicken with belgian waffles. Literally some of the best chicken and waffle combo I ever had.
Along with the chicken and waffles I order a side of fruit and the fried grit sticks. The fried grit sticks is one of the most innovative brunch items I ever eaten. I already love grits but fried??! OMG yes please and more! Who thought of this concept? I owe you a kiss!
Plenty of craft mimosas went around during this blogger brunch! Cheers to a great meal!
Taking some after brunch shots with my new blogger friends! Hey it’s the blogger thing to do!
I had to snap a photo by Pijiu Belly artwork. I loved it…I love places with quirky personalities I definitely will return! If you live in the Atlanta area and want a cool brunch place that will serve you quickly with amazing food selections come to this place! Thank you Tori Allen PR for selecting me as one of the bloggers to attend the brunch. Great brunch place in Midtown Atlanta.

The Challah French toast caught my interest right away. The fruit bowl makes a nice addition. I’ve never thought about chicken and waffles together, though they are two of my favorite foods. It looks like you had a great time at Pijiu Belly in Atlanta. Since it’s too far to drive, I’ll have to create the taste at home (especially the fruit and French toast!).
I need to go find a recipe for those Thai Tots! That looks like something that is right up our alley over here!

Fried GRIT STICKS???? WHATTTT? I need those in my belly right now. Nothing making me happier than southern grits. My struggle is real. No one up here makes grits the same.
