{Recap} Macys Get Glam Get Going Spring Event Wednesday 16 March, 2016
“This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.“
The clocks went foward, flowers have started to bloom and it’s time to change your seasonal wardrobe and get ready for Spring? So what’s in trend for Spring fashion this season?? Well Macy’s had a VIP experience event to showcase what to expect in fashion and start getting your spring wardrobe together! I was expecting a fashion show, but this was much more engaging than that! There were different displays of clothing and accessories which had local fashion bloggers to help be your personal stylist for the day to help up your Spring attire.
Some of the Spring accessories and shoes for the season!
There was a fun Pink Candy Buffet for all of the VIP shopping guest. This was was cute pink display and I loved the Chocolate drizzled Popcorn! Yum!
Each Fashion Blogger had their own area to create for each Macy’s Spring Fashion theme for the shoppers to come and check out for inspiration. This was the Now & Zen area by Elle of Pieces Of Elle. She actually had two models to physically model her different variations of this bohemian theme. Fun and interactive and this was my favorite Spring area and more of my style.
There was a Lush Cosmetics station at the event. This was cute as Lush is already located inside of Macys. I got to sample the Big Blue Bath bomb wish is a combination of seaweed and sea salt. I had to get one of my own. Spring isn’t just about clothes its about the scents too so I look forward in exploring more of what Lush has to offer this season!
Overall this Get Glam + Get Going Event was pretty fun. I love the suggestions and I am just ready for Spring already. This post was my last time wearing my boots, packing the rest up them up until Fall again and time to switch into my Spring time wardrobe. I will be back to Macy’s to add to my Spring wardrobe, loving the Bohemian flowy feel so don’t be surprised if you see me in some Now & Zen inspired clothes soon! Spring is in the air…in my hair and soon to dominate my closet!
That colorful bauble necklace is absolutely the bomb! I love thetrend of big chunky necklaces
This looks like so much fun. I am not much of a fashionista, but I’m glam girl and the makeup stuff looked especially fun.
Those necklaces looks like candy themselves! I can’t wait until the kids aren’t little anymore – I can wear heels again!
Those looks are so beautiful! Macy’s never disappoints me with their fashion. They’re always on point.
I love Macy’s, they always have so many clothes that are just my style. This looks like it was a really cool event!
What a cool event! Macy’s has been my favorite department store for years. I can’t wait to get out there and see everything they’ve go to offer this year.
Love that whimsical skirt, not sure I could ever pull it off as they are usually too long but I keep searching for petite.
I’m loving the new spring fashions they showcased. I’m looking forward to seeing more of their styles.

Loving the colorful bauble necklace!
I stopped at the red strappy heels with fringe, noticed them again, went back and looked and knew it was love at first sight. What a great event and pictures.
That necklace with the large flowers is so me. That would go with so many solid color tops.
This looks like a super fun event! Now i feel like my wardrobe is outdated, maybe ill go clothes hunting tomorrow.
I love those orange shoes. They are perfect for spring, and the fringe gives them a funky vibe. Love!
I love the idea of this. It is so much better than a fashion show. This one is indeed more engaging and you can really sort through things and even perhaps try it on.
It’s so nice to attend events like this, I’m not really into fashion but I like the idea of having an idea of what the latest trends will be like for the the season since I have two young girls! These are all so lovely, I love the light and airy dresses.

I’m extremely fashion-deficient in my choices and I’m working to do better.
I have a huge event at the end of April with NOTHING to wear.
I am looking forward to shopping for my new spring and summer wardrobe. I love all the colors that are hot this year.
