The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival has long been a highlight of the city’s culinary calendar, celebrating the bold flavors and rich traditions of the South. Since its debut in 2011, it has grown into one of the Southeast’s most anticipated food events, drawing locals, travelers, and celebrity chefs alike.
		
		 This year, the festival takes a big step forward—and it’s not just in flavor. For the first time, the event is moving from its longtime home at Old Fourth Ward Park to the heart of Downtown Atlanta at The Home Depot Backyard, adjacent to Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The new venue reflects the festival’s growth, offering more space, accessibility, and an elevated experience for thousands of food lovers.

From September 11–14, 2025, attendees can expect four full days of Southern cuisine, craft beverages, and interactive culinary experiences. Over 200 of the region’s most celebrated chefs, mixologists, and sommeliers will be on hand, including big names like Andrew Zimmern, Marcus Samuelsson, Scott Conant, Rodney Scott, and local favorites like Josue Pena and Davis King.
For the first time, the festival is adding an extra day of Tasting Tents, giving guests even more opportunities to sample a wide variety of dishes, from traditional Southern favorites to modern culinary innovations.

One of the highlights is the Publix Culinary Demonstration Stage, where chefs will cook live, share their signature recipes, and answer questions from the audience. It’s an immersive way to learn, taste, and get inspired by Atlanta’s thriving food scene.

	Whiskey & Fire: A Fiery Debut
Adding to the excitement, the festival introduces Whiskey & Fire on September 13 from 12:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Guests can watch local chefs cook over open flames while pairing their creations with whiskies from around the world. Hosted at Guardian Works (775 Echo St NW, Atlanta), the event offers a unique, interactive tasting experience. Tickets are $99 for general admission and $119 for VIP, which includes early entry.
