Empty Nest to Hot Mess : ABC’s New Sitcom “Call Your Mother” Hilariously showcases Parenthood in a Pandemic Wednesday 13 January, 2021
Call Your Mother is an upcoming American television multi-camerasitcom that is being co-created, co-written, and co-executive produced by Kari Lizer. I got a chance to watch the virtual premiere as press with the cast to talk about this new sitcom. This sitcom is ahead of its time as it actually set place in a present day era in the pandemic! I’m sure there are many shows and movie to follow this theme as this is our “new normal” but I am happy there is a show depicting this world in a funny way. What better way to make jokes than to have some laughs over empty nest syndrome in a pandemic?

She decides her place is with her family, and as she reinserts herself into their lives, her kids realize they might actually need her more than they thought.
“Call Your Mother” premieres Wednesday, January 13th at 9:30pm ET/PT on ABC.

Interesting that a show is set in a pandemic, which is most appropriate for the times in which we live. And I see it is brand new- just premiered yesterday. Can’t wait to see how it does with the public and with critics.

I have seen some commercials for this and it looks funny show. I like watching more lighthearted things like this lately, in light of the pandemic.
