A Timeless Story Reimagined
At the heart of the show is Marty McFly, the teenager who accidentally travels from 1985 to 1955 in a time machine built by the eccentric genius Doc Brown. Once in the past, Marty disrupts the timeline and risks erasing his own future. To set things right, he must track down Doc Brown and make sure his high school–aged parents fall in love before it’s too late.
The production includes all the unforgettable moments fans know and love, from Marty’s race against time to the legendary DeLorean’s journey through history. The stagecraft delivers a jaw-dropping spectacle, capturing the magic of time travel in ways you have to see to believe.

Winner of the 2022 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, this adaptation proves that when Back to the Future hits 88mph, it doesn’t just revisit history—it changes musical theater forever.
Directed by Tony Award winner John Rando, the musical features a book by Back to the Future co-creator Bob Gale. The score is written by Grammy Award winner Alan Silvestri and six-time Grammy Award winner Glen Ballard. Fans will also hear familiar favorites from the film, including “The Power of Love” and “Johnny B. Goode.”
