Almost Christmas Star-Studded Red Carpet Movie Screening in Atlanta Thursday 27 October, 2016
Its movie review time and just in time for the holidays! Almost Christmas has a super movie screening in Atlanta that I am excited to share with you all. It was a star-studded event that brought out some mega celebrities to Atlanta promo for the film and do a screening for it. I know I go to a lot of movie screening, but this one was definitely a show-stopper! It really made me realize it was Almost Christmas…in real life. I am in the holiday spirit now!
Almost Christmas Synposis :A new comedy from writer/director David E. Talbert (Baggage Claim) and producer Will Packer (Ride Along, Think Like a Man series, This Christmas), Almost Christmas tells the festive story of a beloved patriarch who asks his family for one gift this holiday season: to get along. If they can honor that wish and spend five days under the same roof without killing one another, it will be a Christmas miracle.
The all-star cast of Almost Christmas is led by Kimberly Elise, Danny Glover, John Michael Higgins, Romany Malco, Mo’Nique, JB Smoove, Gabrielle Union, Omar Epps, Nicole Ari Parker, Jessie T. Usher and DC Young Fly.

The most amazing part of the screening is of course the celebs who walked the carpet before the screening. As I stated this was a mega carpet for Atlanta, they brought LA to the A for sure. So highlight of my night on the carpet was meeting Omar Epps. This made me really happy because initially I thought I was not going to get a photo with him due to time restraints and he had already walked once and couldn’t take photos. But there is a good God and he came back to take a few selfies…and here is mine. He is so sweet to guys, his publicist wanted him to stop at me to take picture so he can keep taking step and repeat photos, and he paused and told her “hold on I have to take this picture with her first”. Guys her was me!!! I know I sound like a real giddy school girl, but this was someone I have always wanted to meet. Come on Juice, Higher Learning, The Wood, In Too Deep, and of course Love and Basketball. He was everyone’s boyfriend in their heads…and play another role opposite with Gabrielle Union in this film again. Oh yeah have you all noticed…this man DID NOT AGE. How do you look exactly the same if not better than you did 20 years when you started? (#vampire)
Almost Christmas was great holiday movie. The red carpet was amazing, so many great celebs that came to Atlanta to show love and be apart of this film. This film is amazing because it bridge the gap of young and older actors and actress and merged them in this beautiful film. Lots of big names and just overly good holiday energy from this film. I definitely recommend seeing this movie if you are ready to be in the holiday spirit and be around family. It was truly a feel good movie filled with love, comedy and a great story about holiday and gathering!
