#BirchBoxInMyCity RoadTrip Tour | Atlanta Beauty Stop Saturday 08 August, 2015
Guess what popped-up in Atlanta! One of my favorite beauty brands ever, the subscription box that started it all BIRCHBOX! Yes Birchbox is traveling for a road-trip pop-up shop experience and Atlanta was the first stop! You all know I ran to this event as fast as I could to experience and recap this for you!
There is a Birchbox pop-up shop where you can actually buy beauty products that were actually featured in a box. There are stations in this area where you can Try before you Buy the products and even purchase previous Birchboxes.
So I arrived at the venue at the first thing you want to do is head to the BYOB (Build Your Own Box) Station! That’s right you can create you own beauty box! How fun and I was in beauty heaven!
So the cool part about this BYOB station, it was for Birchbox + BirchBox Man…meaning yes men can make their own boxes too! They had crates with empty Birchboxes and products lined up in categories for your own personal selections.

As stated when you get a box, you have different products per category to fill your box accordingly. So each box is crafted specifically to your liking! This was for both Birchbox + Birchbox Man.

Here is a preview of some of the products I filled in my box! When you are finished, a nice Birchbox rep places it in the box for you and lines it with tissues for a pretty presentation! Christmas came early!

Oh but here was an awesome part. I met Ms.Birchbox herself! The Founder + Creator of the Birchbox brand Katia Beauchamp. What a beautiful honor to meet such an innovative entrepreneur who changed the game of not only the beauty industry, but inventing a new way we shop and buy products. Birchbox was the pioneer of the subscription box craze, so every time you see a sub box, thank this woman. Plus isn’t she fab?? This is the new mother of twin boys!! She is just fab all around, and it’s my dream to do a more collaboration with this brand…so crosses finger for future opportunities!
So after you get your shop on, there is another fun beauty part that I loved and that’s the Mani station. You go upstairs to the actual Birchbox shoppe and get a complimentary nail treatment with polished by a great brand Smith + Cult. I never heard of this brand before, but that is the whole point of Birchbox, to expose consumers to new brands and products and become fans of it.
I got my mani done in a pretty shade of blue by Smith & Cult and let me say I am a fan! The pigments are eveything! I got a great mani job…so thanks Birchbox because I was due for a new color!
Of course I was there with some of my blogger friends. We can never go to an event with a step and repeat and not take some snaps! Cheesing real hard after making our boxes!

It won’t becoming near me or I would be there! I like the idea of putting what I want to try in the box instead of the company second guessing me. A mani is a nice touch–Maybe they will come to near where I live eventually.

They need to ‘pop up’ their behinds to NYC! That nail color is matching the ice creams on your outfit, score! No surprise that in LA they are popping up at The Grove, seems like that place has it going on and I’m going to have check it out the next time I am in LA! Too bad I won’t be going there around the time of the tour.
This looks like such amazing fun!! I love events where you get to get to know the product plus experience it as well. I had a Birchbox subscription some time ago…perhaps I should look into getting it again 🙂
Fun! I was sooo hoping that Minneapolis or Mall of America would be a stop on the tour. Bummer… but happy for you that you had a stop near you to try it out.
I love subscription boxes and would really dig an opportunity to build my own, especially on an every month scale rather than just at a unique event. PS – Your dress made my day!
All these companies stop in Chicago, I wish they would come a little bit higher and stop in Detroit or Grand Rapids. I would love to create my own Birch Box.

A Birch Box Pop Up Shop! Well that is pretty cool. I know I have tried products and wished I could buy them. I guess now I can.

Birchbox is one of my favorite Subscription boxes. They always have great products in it to try. They make a great gift.
That’s so much fun! I love getting surprises in the mail, but being able to pick out the items to go in your Birchbox is awesome too.
