DISNEY’S THE NUTCRACKER AND THE FOUR REALMS ALREADY LOOKS SO GLITZY AND GLAMOROUS FOR THE HOLIDAYS! Wednesday 08 August, 2018
Are we already getting ready for the holidays? Well enjoy your summer, but if you are antsy about the holidays you should get excited about the upcoming live action Disney THE NUTCRACKER AND THE FOUR REALMS. The new movie poster has been release and it looks so glitz and glamorous!
THE NUTCRACKER AND THE FOUR REALMS All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar- Plum Fairy, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston, and inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale.

We saw the trailer for this a while ago, and, at first, I had no idea what the movie was! About halfway through, it started to make sense. I look forward to seeing it.
I have seen The Nutcracker in a theater play but to watch it again in a movie would be awesome! I’m making a date with my daughter. We’ll watch this together!
I love this and have seen it live a few times and it is something I look forward to during the holiday season. I might have to make time to go again this year especially since I am living in a new place.

I loved the Nutcracker on stage as a kid so I am excited that Disney is putting it into a movie. I’m sure there has been a few movies made about it, but Disney will take the win for it. It does look really good and I love colors as well. I can’t wait for the holidays and I hope to see tbis in theatres.

This is beyond magical! I love the tone of the entire trailer. The colors, costumes, feel, and delivery of the actors is all absolutely breathtaking.

When I first saw the title I was a bit skeptical…but with Morgan Freeman co-starring I’m sold that this will be another disney great!
