Fall Beauty Hacks Using Aquaphor Healing Ointment Thursday 17 September, 2015
This post is sponsored by Target.
I recently received the latest Target Beauty Box which was the Fall Limited Edition version. That beauty box actually sold out within hours, such a great price and so many people excited about the items that were inside. So if you missed out on the actual box, don’t worry you can still buy all the product in their full sized version at Target. That’s the beauty of the box, even if you missed the sale – all of the products are available at Target! One of the beauty products from the Target Beauty Fall Limited Edition Box that I will be using a lot this fall will be the Aquaphor Healing Ointment.
Aquaphor penetrates deeper than just the surface of the skin to work effectively which is why it’s considered a healing ointment. Immediately when I got it I instantly thought the Aquaphor Healing Ointment would be my go to lip balm for the upcoming harsher weather. Then I thought about it and realized this is a multi-usage product. Why only use this product one way when there are several ways to use this healing ointment. Here are a few ways to use the Aquaphor Healing Ointment beyond just as a lip balm treatment.
Lipstick Teeth Stain Prevention – I don’t know about you all, but some of my lipstick can really stain my teeth! Especially reds, and with the fall approaching I will be wearing more berry colors and deep reds on my lips. I don’t want these colors to continue to stain my teeth, so just swiping a little of the healing ointment to tooth will help in the constant teeth checking.
DIY Instant Blush – Have you ever been out and forgot to put on blush or ran out of your favorite blush? I had, resulting in having bland cheeks so having something to give me the rosy flushed look is a must. A simply DIY blush beauty hack is to mix your favorite eyeshadow or even lipstick blush color with the Aquaphor and you have an instant blush!
Makeup Remover – Ran out of make-up wipes, remover or just need to get some of you makeup off quickly? Dab some Aquaphor into a napkin and remove! Works great on lipstick & eye shadow removal!
Perfume Enhancer – Are you tired of your perfume only lasting for the first couple of minutes of putting it on. Well putting the Aquaphor on you key scent areas such as your neck, back of ears and wrist before spraying your perfume will surprisingly extend and enhance your scent for a longer amount of time!
Cracked Skin – The colder weather is approaching and sometime lotion doesn’t always work to keep your skin from getting cracked. Use some Aquaphor on your skin, especially your face and hands to keep them smooth and crack free!
There are many more ways to use Aquaphor for all of your beauty and healing needs but I hope some of these hacks you find useful to help enhance your beauty regimen for the fall! I got the sample size product in my box, but with all of the multiple uses of Aquaphor I am going to go ahead and get the full sized version from Target. Aquaphor Healing Ointment is definitely a new product to add to my beauty arsenal and get me ready for the fall.
