First Look at Ryan Coogler’s “Ironheart”: Teaser Trailer and Poster Featuring Marvel’s New Star Dominique Thorne Wednesday 14 May, 2025
Fans got their first sneak peek at Marvel Television’s new series, “Ironheart,” with the release of a teaser trailer and poster.
The show will be available exclusively on Disney+ starting June 24.
TRAILER
“Ironheart” stars Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a young genius inventor from Chicago who creates some of the coolest iron suits in the MCU. She first appeared in the 2022 film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” directed by Ryan Coogler.
The series picks up after the events of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” and it explores a mix of tech and magic as Riri, eager to make a difference, heads back to her hometown of Chicago. Her innovative approach to building iron suits is impressive, but her journey gets complicated when she crosses paths with the mysterious and charismatic Parker Robbins, aka “The Hood,” played by Anthony Ramos.
The show also features Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White. Chinaka Hodge is the head writer, with episodes directed by Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes.
The series is executive produced by Marvel boss Kevin Feige, along with Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Zoie Nagelhout, Chinaka Hodge, Ryan Coogler, Sev Ohanian, and Zinzi Coogler. Music for the series is composed by Dara Taylor.
