It’s Spring, merging into summer and I am ready…for more pool time! I really hate the cold, I will pass on all cold weather and I always want to fast forward to warm weather. Like many people, being in the heat means you wanna cool down and pool time is a must this summer! Surprisingly last year I didnt go to the pool as often as I should of but I promised myself this year…NO EXCUSES! I’m gonna make more time to go to the pool and have fun with my friends! Coincidentally enough, my friends last weekend both wanted to throw pool parties and of course I went. I took full advantage of the pools!
I have a close friend named Vanessa and she decided she wanted to have a pool party this year! Perfect, summer isn’t here yet but soon but Vanessa is lucky enough to have a birthday to have a pool party for (Im a bitter February winter baby). Of course I got her a gift…but I thought it would be cute to get her something personalized. I always wanted to Share a Coke with someone, and I almost instantly saw Vanessa’s name and I knew I was gonna share a Coke with her.
I did get Vanessa a gift for her birthday, but I forgot to get her a card. I am a mega-card person but I decided that this Coke would be my card. It has her name on it…I am sure she would accept this in place of a regular card. She is so lucky to even get a Cokewith her name on it…me not so much luck…yet!

I had fun giving Vanessa her Coke! I told her this was her birthday card this year. She loved it, she said she never had a person find her name and share a Cokewith her…so score for originality from me! So remember I told you all I probably won’t find a Coke with my name on it…but hey an emoji smiley face works for now! I live in the city of the Home of the Coke…so yeah you never know maybe they will have a customization Share-A-Coke station in the future…until then we improvise!

I also shared a Coke with one of my close friends Nina! Couldn’t find Nina’s name, so this is a good example of if you can’t find your friend’s name, go with a phrase that reminds you of them! She got the one that says BFF on it (her brother Justin is gonna be so mad because he is my BFF too lol). She shared with me another smiley face emoji Coke…look my name is just not gonna be on a Coke unless I customize it so I will take the emoji!

As you can see I had a ball with my friends by the pool! Summer is coming but look it came early for us! Literally just lots of genuine laughs, swims, convos and just good energy. That’s what summer fun is about and a pool can easily bring people together…especially if you bring your own food + drinks too! We have already talked about future pool cookout parties we will be having this summer…so maybe you will see more pool posts in the future. I just bought a coke for my father in law today! When I saw his name in the cooler I squealed so loudly I scared the guy behind me to death!
