The 2023 ESSENCE Girls United Disruptor Summit took place in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, November 11, 2023. The event aimed to celebrate the various facets of the Black experience, with a particular focus on Zillenials. It sought to highlight those in their ‘Era of Disruption’ who are pushing boundaries and breaking molds.
The festivities commenced with a warm welcome from Rechelle Dennis, Girls United Co-Founder & Lead, followed by the introduction of the talented host, Rachel Jackson.

The lineup of exceptional talent included a panel discussion featuring the dynamic sister-duo Jordyn and Jodie Woods, who shared insights on collaboration and taking their business to new heights.
The event also featured a live taping with the cast of ‘If Not for My Girls’ Season 5, including BIA, Muni Long, and Pretty Vee.
Additionally, there was an engaging session dedicated to exploring fashion, creativity, and the perspectives of fashion designers.
To conclude the day, Mariah The Scientist graced the stage and captivated the audience with her mesmerizing performance, which included beloved hits like the fan favorite, “Spread Thin.”
