{Movie Review} Furious 7 + ATL Carshow Prescreening Event Sunday 05 April, 2015
This is a movie review for the Furious 7 movie which debuted this weekend! I did see the pre-screening, but in Atlanta they did something special before the show started as they had a car showcase in the streets of Atlantic Stations. The public got to see a taste of some Fast & Furious cars in tribute of the upcoming film francise of Furious 7. Below are some of the cars I personally liked and admired!

So as you can see the shiny and fast vehicles in the streets to pump fans up about the movie. I loved the Baby Blue BMW personally…too bad I couldnt test drive it…but I am going to be sharing with you all a car review I had for a week (sorry it wasn’t a fast or furious car but it was bright and shiny!). Stay tuned for that!
The Furious 7 movie is apart of the Fast Furious series, and this is an extra special movie, as the late actor Paul Walker passed away as he was filming this. It’s so unfortunate that he passed in an eerie manner of what his character was a professional in which was a freak speed car accident last year. Fan should be excited to see him in his last film, as he was still able to be a strong character and finished out 85% of his scenes and his brother did the rest. A little tidbit* They did shoot a lot of the film here in Atlanta – but it abrupted due to the accident. Check out an intimate convo with co-star of the film Tyrese Gibson here as he talked about the film and his feelings about his closeness with Paul Walker.
Synopsis: Continuing the global exploits in the unstoppable franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson lead the returning cast of Furious 7. James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series that also welcomes back favorites Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black. They are joined by international action stars new to the franchise including Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, Nathalie Emmanuel and Kurt Russell. Neal H. Moritz, Vin Diesel and Michael Fottrell return to produce the film written by Chris Morgan. (Universal Pictures)
My opinion: I have watched all of the Fast Furious series and this one was definitely the most emotional one. All I can say is definitely seeing Paul Walker in this film was breaking my heart and really pains me to know he passed while making this movie, which is of course his last film. He was a great actor and so talented so watching him in action just made me love him even more and appreciate his craft. To keep myself from crying through the movie, I will say the action scenes did not disappoint. I even felt in several part of the movie the cast members were all superhuman! The stunts, the skills, and just overall intelligence of this dream team blew my mind! It was very entertaining to watch and see them all come together and…kick ass! I will be honest I really do not like action movies, but the Fast Furious series always make it much more than that! I will say the ending was super touching…I wont give it away but let’s just say it was a tearjerker. Rest In Peace Paul Walker. The film did him justice for his last film…his last ride.
IN THEATERS NATIONWIDE ON FRIDAY, APRIL 3, 2015
What a fantastic car event to go too. I would love to see all those cars in person. I can’t wait to see this movie.
This movie was so tough for me to go see, so so so tough. I kept tearing up throughout the whole movie and at the end I just burst into tears. Paul has always been my favorite, I grew up admiring him from a far (after he passed I got his signature tattooed on my back, as a remembrance but also as a reminder to me to help keep his memory alive by donating to his charity, get people talking and asking when they see it,etc)
I think furious 7 next to 6 was my favorite. It was really well done, even if all I could think about was how he had passed and this was it, the last time We’d see him.
Tyrese absolutely had me in stitches in between the tearing up moments. It was without a doubt everything I expected and more. Bravo to the cast, and for everyone involved who kept on and finished the film. Us fans have somewhat of a closure now even if it’s bittersweet and still doesn’t seem real. I hear they are making 3 more, I think this is the absolute wrong move. I won’t see them. Vin and Paul were thay franchise and now, it just wouldn’t be the same or right.
We flipped a coin and saw Insurgent today. Furious 7 is on calendar for next weekend. Fantastic cars in the pictures- thanks for the great shots. I agree with you about the stars – sometimes it is best to put a series to sleep rather then replace beloved characters with someone new.
I haven’t seen of the fast and furious movies. But those are looking cars.
I actually didn’t see this movie and to be honest, I’ve usually waited until they came out to DVD. This one though, partially because one of the characters passed, I want to see. The other half just really enjoyed the trailers. I’m not into cars like that, but I must admit, these are some beauties! BTW, looking good girl!
It was so tough for me to see too! It was certain part I just started to tear up…I got really emotional. I got a chance to interview Tyrese he said there are no talks yet about them continuing the series…at least thats is what he said during the conference call. Glad you enjoyed the film too!
I saw a few of the cars when I was at Universal last month, but I have never seen any of the movies, so I didn’t really appreciate it the way fans of the movies would 🙂
I haven’t seen it yet. Just watching the previews for the last couple of months almost made me cry! Several of my friends saw the movie and loved it. Looks like the prescreening event was awesome with all of those beautiful, luxe cars!
Pretty sure just sitting in one of those cars would make me happy. 😉
Looking forward to your other car review too!
My husband was casting and working on Need for Speed when Paul Walker died. It’s strange that he died in a car crash… so tragic!
The cars look awesome! I can’t wait to go see Furious 7 myself! I was really saddened to hear of Paul Walker’s passing.
How amazing that you got to see these gorgeous cars up close and personal. No doubt I’ll get to watch the movie soon when my other half has it on 🙂
I am wondering if my husband would like this movie. He likes a really fast paced one. Would be the one to take him to for our anniversary.
I love matte black paint on fancy cars. My husband and I are going to see this movie tomorrow night!
Wow, so cool that you got to see the gorgeous cars up close and personal! How exciting and fun. I’ve never watched these movies but I heard they wrapped them up nicely.
Wow those cars are gorgeous! I was going to go see the movie over the weekend but I haven’t been feeling well. I need to get there. I have seen every Fast & Furious movie in the theaters. I can’t stop with this one! I know I am going to cry.
I have heard many great reviews about this movie and cannot wait to go watch it myself. I have seen the other 6 and they all truly are action packed for having so many sequels!
I have not seen the movie but I want to. I heard many great things about this movie which is odd because a lot of the time there is always conflicting reviews. Thanks for this review! Can’t wait to see it.
I had no idea there were SEVEN of these! RIP Paul Walker. A kid that grew up on my street worked on these films and said he was such a good person.
This was an awesome screening. We are going to the theater to see this one on the weekends.
Wow! How awesome that must have been! Those cars looks so cool. Never seen anything like that before.
Seeing all of those cars would have been so cool! I don’t usually prefer to watch action movies but I do like this series and will see it soon.
Those cars are truly something else. I’ve missed out on most of those films but I liked number 5.
I haven’t seen all the films, but they seem so exciting! I am in love with the Audi pictured! :))
wow, those cars are beauties! i’m sure it must have been different since the main star was not part of this episode.
I haven’t seen the movie yet but I really would like to. I heard from others it was an emotion movie for them as well.
I will definitely watch Furious 7 when it becomes available here. It’s just sad that Paul Walker isn’t on the entire film but so glad that he’s still part of this one before he passed.
RIP Paul Walker. This movie is kind of a memorial to anyone who loves cars and died in an accident. I loved number 2 the best of all the movies and Vin Diesel is so hot!
I have to say that I never got into the franchise – there’s a lot of “show”, but not a lot of story, or character development.
RIP for Paul Walker, my son really loves this movie he really love cars too, this review is really fantastic.
This looks like such a wild & fun event. So many amazing things to see!
Looks like this movie will be super emotional, I’m really interested in going to see it!
We have also watch all the Fast and Furious movies. They have all been so good. Paul Walker was a really good actor who will truly be missed by many. RIP Paul Walker. Thanks for sharing and I can’t wait to see this movie.
That is soo neat! I’ve heard great things about this movie. Haven’t seen it myself yet. This looks like a great event!
In 1989 I bought a brand spanking new Porsche. It was the car of my dreams. But in 1993 or so I had to get rid of it because my daughter could no longer fit in its tiny back seat. ‘Traded it in on a Ford Windstar (van), ‘Saddest day of my life. LOL
That’s a sweet collection of rolling steel. I’ve actually only seen the first FnF movie, maybe I’ll see this and make it bookends.
I finally went to see the movie this morning! 🙁
I haven’t seen the movie yet, but hoping to see it soon. It’s great to see all the cars from it!
What a fun event to be able to attend. The car are so cool! I have not seen it but it is on my list of must see movies.
The cars makes me want to see the movie, Furious 7 is worth a watch, I am a huge fan of Paul, I know he would have been so proud.
Oh wow, such cool carshow – my boyfriend would love these!
Look at all those hot rods! Gorgeous! We haven’t seen the movie yet. I would love to.
Loving that orange car. How sleek and stylish. Can’t wait for that movie!

They have all been so good. Paul Walker was a really good actor who will truly be missed by many. RIP Paul Walker. Thanks for sharing and I can’t wait to see this movie.
Don’t let fear of what these pens represent (nefarious intent of a stranger) stop you from considering them for your self defense bag o’tricks, or from possibly gifting them to someone you know who could benefit from owning one.
I hope to be able to teach others in the future while I’m offline. I think that we get so caught up in the blogging game that we forget we have lives outside of our daily stats.
