There was a nice press junket in Atlanta for Tyler Perry’s popular shows on Oprah’s Network OWN For Better or Worse + If Loving You Is Wrong. Tyler Perry is so innovative, going beyond slaptick comedy movies but migrated to soap-opera like series with lots of suspense and great storylines. They had a media luncheon for the ATL elite media outlets to have engaging convos with a few of the actors from the shows and prep us for whats to come for their new Spring season! 

Two of the cast member for the drama sitcom For Better or Worse is Michael Jai White (Marcus) + Tasha Smith (Angela). For Better Or Worse, Tyler Perry’s sit-com centers around two of Perry’s favorite characters from the big screen- Marcus and Angela. Marcus and Angela were first introduced to the world in Tyler Perry’s blockbuster hit feature films… “Why Did I Get Married”, and “Why Did I Get Married Too”.

For Better or Worse is groundbreaking television and one of the biggest TV shows movie mogul Tyler Perry has ever produced. The sets, high fashion and the strikingly goodlooking cast

come together to create a truly sexy and provocative half hourof television. Viewers will experience a fresh approach to the traditional sitcom format that will provide all the elements of

wellcrafted storytelling and the raw intrigue of reality TV. For Better or Worse explores the controversial and joyous moments associated with marriage and dating in a 21st-century world.

We also got a change to hear from two of the cast member’s of Tyler Perry’s newest show If Loving You Is Wrong with Edwina Findley (Kelly) + Adien Turner (Brad).  On the heels of OWN’s popular series The Haves and the Have Nots comes Tyler Perry’s new primetime drama If Loving You is Wrong has returned for their second season, which returned on the network this Tuesday.

With a diverse cast and storylines ranging from heartfelt to scandalous, the sexy, sleek drama takes viewers into the lives of a group of husbands, wives and friends that live and love in the same middle class neighborhood. On the surface they are true-to-life, relatable people—raising children, working jobs, finding and maintaining romance but just below the veneer of happiness, their lives are entangled by heartbreak, deceit and lies that threaten to destroy everything.

I got an opportunity to interview the two cast mates of Tyler’s new hit series ‘If Loving You Is Wrong‘ Edwin Findley & Aiden Turner. Below are some of the photos from the interview and snippets of the convo. 

I really enjoyed having an interview with Edwina Findley + Aiden Turner. They had a really great first season with wonderful feedback from the audience. The show is full of lots of drama, suspense and sitting on the edge of your seat. Aiden came from the soap opera era of All My Children, easily transitioning to Tyler Perry’s new age soaps. They spoke with me one their personal lives and how they related to their characters on the show. 

Aiden, who’s charachter is name Brad, on the show plays husband to a wife who suddenly got pregnant last season even though he had a vacetomy. The drama continues on that for this second season…but in real life Aiden is a great father and a true romantic. He traveled from Europe to move all the way to Atlanta to be with his now significant other. He is truly in love and said he is really happy and loves to be in love. 

Edwina character on the show plays a widowed wife with a teen with a lot of her own supense and drama. She is also starring as Kevin Hart’s wife in the new movie that debuts this week “Get Hard” and ventures into comedy.
