Panda Fest: Atlanta’s Premier AAPI Food and Culture Celebration Arrives This April Wednesday 22 January, 2025

Even though Atlanta had to say goodbye to its beloved pandas last year, there’s some exciting news for panda fans! This spring, get ready for Panda Fest, a fun-filled, interactive celebration of all things panda-themed! Happening from April 4-6, 2025, at Atlantic Station’s Pinnacle Lot, this festival is set to be one of the largest outdoor Asian food festivals in the country. You can look forward to a feast for the senses, featuring tastings, experiential activities, and a vibrant market fair that showcases the rich foods, arts, and cultural traditions of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities.

Panda Fest is the brainchild of the creators of Dragon Fest, a staple in the Asian food and culture festival scene. What started as a one-day celebration called Panda Day—which included panda-themed foods, games, and raffles—quickly grew in popularity. Thanks to all the panda love, Panda Fest has transformed into a multi-day extravaganza that will travel to various U.S. cities throughout 2025, with Atlanta being the first stop outside New York. Talk about making a comeback!

Get ready to embark on a culinary adventure as Panda Fest brings together over 100 food stalls and trucks, offering a staggering 300+ dishes from countries like China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. Plus, you can explore a market fair featuring more than 20 vendors selling unique crafts, clothing, and accessories inspired by Asian culture. And of course, panda-themed items will be everywhere, including a giant 15-foot inflatable panda, a bouncy panda ring, and tasty panda treats. To top it all off, there will be live cultural performances and craft demos, showcasing everything from lion dances to K-pop routines. If you’re interested in getting involved as a vendor, sponsor, or participant, you can apply to be part of this incredible event!
