Monkey Shoulder, the blended malt Scotch whisky brings the fun on the road with the Monkey Mixer. The Monkey Mixer draws inspiration from a cement truck design and mimics a traditional cocktail shaker upgraded and transformed into the ultimate cocktail machine. The Mixer, which can hold up to 2,400 gallons of liquid, will travel to Atlanta from October 18-20 to serve up the “Mixed Up Monkey” cocktail that is poured directly out of a spout of the truck.

Vance recently served as Brand Ambassador for Drambuie and previously was a brand associate working with brands including Flor de Caña Rum, Hendrick’s Gin and Milagro Tequila where he created and executed innovative programs bringing the brands’ drink strategies.
Vance wants everyone to know, whiskey is not just your grandfather’s old school favorite drug. He stated there is this stigma around whiskey where its for older men, mature, business type, who want it a certain way and it can be uptight and not considered a drink you want to order at a bar for leisure. As a brand ambassador, he wants to tell people Whiskey can be fun! He encourages you to “Play With Your Whiskey” meaning, make it a cocktail! It can be refreshing, it can mixed different ways and even put it in a milkshake. During the entire Monkey Mixer tour with Monkey Shoulder, he will be showcasing to people to have fun with whiskey and look at the liqour from a different perspective! Whiskey can be fun!

I’ve never heard of this brand before, but I’m not really a big drinker. My drinks mostly consist of what someone else recommends to me and I’ll drink it without knowing what was mixed in it. The mint whiskey sounds tasty.
I haven’t heard of the Monkey Shoulder brand of whiskey before, but that idea of a “cement mixer” that dispenses cocktails is awesome! I wish they’d be able to reach my area. We’d be happy if they did!
