{Product Review} Miss Jessies Leave-In Condish Wednesday 06 November, 2013

This month, Miss Jessie’s launched their new product called Leave-in Condish™, aka The Best Darn Detangler Period! May I first just say, as a brand lover that I love the name CONDISH? The name alone is just too cute!

I am a HUGE Miss Jessie’s fan and I was very excited to try out this product.  Would you believe that I didn’t even own any leave-in hair conditioner? Yes I have conditioner and hair product for DAYS {product junkie hoarder} but I didn’t even think to get any leave-in conditioner. I will be honest the closest thing I did to having a leave-in conditioner was just to not rinse out all of my conditioner after washing to retain some moisture.

That is my BIGGEST Natural Hair Problem. MOISTURE!! My hair drys out, especially as much as I wash-n-go my hair. So I do use a lot of conditioner and moisturizer, but I will admit, I needed more. So when I tried out this product, this was my 1st time using an actual leave-in conditioner and I LOVED the results {see picture below}.

How my hair came out after using the CONDISH

What I noticed immediately after I let my hair air dry {I do not blow dry my hair often FYI} that my hair was extremely soft. I also noticed my curls seemed a little bit more defined than usual.  More Soft & Defined Hair?! Is this a miracle product??? The hair Gods have answered my prayers! My thick curls were saved!

WATCH ME WHIP MY HAIR

This was just a little fun mini video of me using the Leave in Condish™. If you watched my video on how I perfected my WASH & GO CURLS, I did the same regiegm except I added the Leave-in Condish™ after I let my Jelly Soft Curlapplication dry.

Benefits of Leave-in Condish

.Detangles

2.Soften

3.Coats & Protects

4.Moisturizes

All of the above have worked for my hair.  If you are looking for a product that will  lock in the needed moisture your hair needs after washing, this is a great recommendation. It can also be used as a daily moisturizer for dry hair. Best part – it’s only $11! Find them online or at a Target near you.

I think it came out good. I don’t do wash and go’s anymore. But I would like to try this leave in condish on me and my daughters hair. You hair looks like it was soft.

    • It did Bernetta. I noticed a huge difference. I used this as a wash and go, but you can use it as a daily moisturizers and I think your daughter will also benefit from the results. Especially if tangling is a concern for you it helps!

I live and DIE for my leave in conditioners…….lol. Since I have gone natural I have learned to embrace the concept of the don’t wash out that conditioner……lol. TELL ME THE SMELL? I find their products can be too candy smelling for my taste.

    • Yes I was just used to not washing out my conditioner for the longest (so lazy) lol. Oh and this is definitely not a bubble gum smell. It’s a fresh linen or fresh out the shower smell. I’m a product smeller too so you will be happy this one is a tantalizing smell.

I have used Miss Jessie’s in the past but have since moved on to cheaper and better acting products for my hair. Now, that’s a price I can get behind but not sure if I will ever go back to that line. I do appreciate reading your review.

    • Kiwi says:

Well thanks for your sincerity. For what I can say this products works for MY hair and I found the perfect concoctions with this line to maintain my curls. But the GREAT thing about the natural community is that it is a trial and error process but once you find your perfect mix – you know what works for your hair glad you found yours. Thanks for reading!

Your hair looks great! I’m not normally a Miss Jessie’s fan but, this product is worth a try.

  • Great review…love the results! I have never tried anything from Miss Jessie’s. I just always thought they were a bit overpriced for the ingredients they were touting. I dunno, that’s just me. This product is not expensive by far, but for now I am stuck on Shea Moisture’s product line. Maybe this could be a future product buy for me tho. Thanks for the review.

    • Kiwi says:

You are welcome! You know they have on the site where you can obtain FREE samples if you are inquiring. That is what Miss Jessie’s is know for the best, always willing to give free product sample before you make a decision to buy a product you never tried.

I do swear by the condish – after usage my hair was softer and it detangles my hair really well!
