The action/comedy tells of a couple’s (Lopez & Duhamel) extravagant destination wedding that is hijacked by criminals. In the process of saving their families, they rediscover why they fell in love in the first place. “Shotgun Wedding” will mark the 58-year-old rockstar’s 10th feature film as Sean Hawkins who plays Jennifer Lopez’s ex-boyfriend.
This film is a toss up between throwing the bouquet or throwing the grenade!
In Shotgun Wedding, Darcy (Jennifer Lopez) and Tom (Josh Duhamel) gather their lovable-but-very-opinionated families for the ultimate destination wedding, just as the couple begin to get cold feet. And if that wasn’t enough of a threat to the celebration, suddenly everyone’s lives are in danger when the entire party is taken hostage. “’Til Death Do Us Part” takes on a whole new meaning in this hilarious, adrenaline-fueled adventure as Darcy and Tom must save their loved ones—if they don’t kill each other first.
Atlanta had a Tropical Beach Themed Party in celebration of the movie. I also did a pre-screening movie invite where some of my friends viewed it a week prior. It’s not your regular rom-com. It’s giving very much so Mr.&Mrs.Smith vibes with a Jenny from the Block twist. Another twist I didn’t expect was Lenny Kravitiz role. He did a great job and his character was prominent to the film, but he is still amazing to look and marvel at! More movie roles for Mr.Kravitiz please!
