Where To Stay in Jekyll Island: Holiday Inn Resort Monday 04 December, 2017
Another day, another roadtrip. I took a roadtrip with my two friends for a friendsgiving holiday trip to Jekyll Island,GA. I travel with my two blogger friends Talaia and Danielle, we immensely agreed we wanted to getaway fo the Thanksgiving holiday. We are always down to travel, they are my traveling trio crew. Jekyll Island,GA is a 4 1/2 hour drive from Atlanta and we got an opportunity to stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Jekyll Island. It was a perfect accomodation with the three of us.
Holiday Inn Resort at Jekyll Island is a casual resort nestled along 1/4 mile of ocean on Jekyll Island. Those looking for relaxing and modern accommodations will be right at home at Holiday Inn Resort. Relax in rooms with sweeping views of the ocean. We got a chance to stay in a really nice suite.
What we immediately loved is that you have an effiency styled suite room with a full kitchen. The stovetop, microwave and refridgerator came in handy as we did bring in catered food for Thanksgiving. We actually arrived on the actual holiday. We had plenty of space in the living room to set up our Friendsgiving tablescape!

It was Thanksgiving after all, and we had it with each other. We catered food for the occassion and we set it up nicely in the living room!
Well it is November, even though the weather was in the high 60s. we didnt indulge in the pools. They were beautiful as they were both saltwater pools.
Outdoor firepit
These oversized outdoor cabanas were my favorite. I love how they were cascaded outside with a perfect view of the beach. It was with great weather and views. Perfect place to take a nap!
Talaia (WholeYum.com), Danielle (Lushworthy.com) and I really enjoyed our Friendsgiving roadtrip to Jekyll Island. It was great to be with friends, and to be honest we were happy to be in each others company. None of us have kids yet and our families understood we are always traveling.

I would love to visit Jekyll Island! It looks like such a great place. I will have to keep this in mind and definitely check out the Holiday Inn. I love how much room there is and the modern amenities. Very nice!
What a beautiful resort! My sister went on vacation about the same time you did and said that it was like having the whole hotel to themselves (and the pool too!). I love how you also ordered in Thanksgiving even though you weren’t at home. It’s such a good way to keep tradition!
The oversized outdoor cabanas look so cool. I would love to relax in them and listen to the water splashing up on the beach. And then for the evening, you have that huge firepit to gather around! I love it.
I was in training near Jeckyll Island several years ago for 6 weeks. We spent most weekends at the shops and the restaurants on the island. It was beautiful then and I see it is still beautiful now. I need to plan a return trip, this time for some R&R. Your pictures are beautiful. What a great, non traditional way to spend the Thanksgiving holiday.

It does look like such a fun place. But the rooms are just so awesome. It’s like taking a little slice of home out on the road. And the beds look luxurious.
People sleep on the Holiday Inn. I’ve had some great experiences at several and this one looks perfect. Close to the beach and cute. Let me head to Jekyll when the weather warms up again.
The Holiday Inn Resort looks really nice. Something about the decor and color scheme of the bedroom looks really tranquil. I think I could get my best sleep in there.

Holiday Inn is the best place you can stay no matter where you go! We stay at Holiday Inn whenever possible when we travel.

That’s a nice looking hotel. You can’t really go wrong with Holiday Inn, though – they are always nice.
For the money, Holiday Inns are the way to go! They’ve really upgraded from years past!

I know several people who have vacationed at Jeckyll Island and have loved it. I just might have to add this to my list to must do’s.
