It’s that time of year when spooky season arrives, and I can’t get enough of all things thrilling. From scary movies to chilling experiences, I’m fully immersed. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to attend a bone-tingling Séance Night in Atlanta, in celebration of the release of “A Haunting in Venice.”
This event allowed me to delve into the eerie realm of the spirit world, as the Kuumba Storytellers of Georgia narrated the hushed whispers and hidden narratives. The venue for this unforgettable night was none other than Wren’s Nest, a place rumored to be one of Atlanta’s most haunted locations.
The séance was an exciting and immersive experience, keeping us engaged throughout the night. Notably, a segment of our evening was captured by Fox5 Atlanta, and you can watch the recorded clip here.
The following day, we were fortunate enough to attend a screening of the film. It was a thrilling experience as they set the mood with dimly lit tea lights, creating a spooky ambiance when the lights were turned off. Every detail was carefully considered to immerse us in the chilling atmosphere of “A Haunting in Venice”.
A Haunting in Venice is set in eerie, post-World War II Venice on All Hallows’ Eve and is a terrifying mystery featuring the return of the celebrated sleuth, Hercule Poirot. Now retired and living in self-imposed exile inthe world’s most glamorous city, Poirot reluctantly attends a séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo. When one of the guests is murdered, the detective is thrust intoa sinister world of shadows and secrets.
