ATLANTIC STATION WELCOMES 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF UNIVERSOUL CIRCUS

Atlantic Station is excited to host the 30th Anniversary of UniverSoul Circus this month. Showcasing talents from five continents, accompanied by the vibrant beats of World Music, incorporating various African diaspora dance styles and sounds, this year’s UniverSoul Circus presents a refreshed lineup with over a dozen culturally diverse performances. Witness exclusive acts from Ethiopia, the Dominican Republic, and Mongolia, along with an impressive eighteen-person flying trapeze act from China. UniverSoul Circus will debut at Atlantic Station on Friday, May 17, in a special event celebrating “Circus Cousins from around the World.”

Displayed within a newly designed custom purple Big Top imported from Italy, measuring 157 feet in width and 330 feet in length, equivalent to the size of a football field, this structure is equipped with cutting-edge lighting and a sound system that pulsates in sync with the performance. Residents of Atlanta will have the opportunity to witness the tent’s erection this week from the connector!

Attendees of UniverSoul Circus can enjoy two hours of free parking in Atlantic Station’s parking deck. Alternatively, those with tickets can opt to use MARTA to reach the Arts Center station and then catch the complimentary Atlantic Station shuttle to the venue.
