Visions of a New Car Tuesday 25 June, 2013

So about two weeks ago my old faithful car went out on me…

I modestly drove a 2002 Kia Optima and I had the car for six years! I paid it in full when I bought it and I have be inseperable from my car up until my car decided not to work. I went from having slight emission problems, to seeking to get my door fixed and the day I was to get it repaired…my car shut-off from me (conviently across the street from the Firestone I was getting the repairs from). I was in complete shock! What is going on with this car now? So not only do I have a door issue…I thought I had an accelerator/starter issue…GREAT!

Check out my Vines while I was getting my car fixed. (Oh Yeah I dont care about you Instagram Video Lovers I Love Vine! Vine was there 1st and was there for me when I was having these issues lol!).

So as you all could see #thestrugglewasreal. I also was tweeting and hashtaging repetitiving in a joking way #kiwineedsanew car…the entire time.  When I got word back from the Firestone mechanics for the status of my car, the came to the conclusion that the cost to fix my repairs was going to run me $1100 dollars! What??!

$1100 dollars? I never spent that much on my car repairs…and I definitely didnt have $1100 just to give up to fix an issue they claim may or may not 100% fix the problem. The only solution  I had was to get a new car…I was actually devistated! I am not ready for a new car…money going down the hole…

So getting a new car was happening.  My parents are so nice they wanted to help pick me a car…their first choice a hideous 2007 Toyota Corolla. YUCK!

“Not the actual car they showed me but its the exact model. Just as ugly yuckie”.

I know my parents meant well, but I wanted my next car to be something I actually picked out and can be proud to drive! My 1st two cars,  A 1996 Kia Sephia and the 2002 Kia Optima…we both cars I got because I needed a car in a hurry. I definitely didn’t want another Kia, and this Toyota Corolla was out of the question. Plus 2007 car with 95k miles on it wasn’t something I saw myself driving.

So with the power of new technology and help with the CarMax sales associate I was able to narrow down my own choices from Hondas, Nissans, Fords and Chevys, to car milages, to car year, and of course my afforable price range budget. The 2011 Chevy popped up and immediately I knew that was the car!

So yay I got my new car…but it’s a little more than that. I actually had this exact car on my vision board!

VISIONS OF A NEW RIDE

Doesn’t this car on my board look very similar to my Chevy Avero?

I literally made this Vision Board a month ago with one of my best friends, Vanessa. What is a vision board? It’s a board you create with cut-outs from magazines to inspire you with things you want to obtain and affirmations to manifest in your life. If you look at the board everyday with a knowing you can obtain the things on the board, then your board literally starts to become a part of your reality.

I am a firm believer of the Law of Attraction & The Secret. If you speak things into exsistence and claim what you want with positivity, you can achieve what you want. I was playing but low-key serious when I created the hashtag #kiwineedsanewcar, but I really wanted a new car this year. I got one quicker than I thought.

**cue Drake song**

That’s one of the 1st things that actually manifested off of my board, and I cannot wait to share with you all what else will manifest from my vision.  I am so grateful for a new Car, which means a new Journey! I am ready for the ride!

Use my Vision Board story as a testimony that your visions can come true.

Love, Grace & Kissy Face,

That’s awesome!! Now I need to go add a pic of a mini Cooper to mine. -_-

    • Make that vision board! Look if I can get a new car you can too. I drove mine for 6 years…and I spoke into existence that this year was the last year I was driving my old Kia Optima. Claim the car 😉

Congrats on your new car! I do vision boards from time to time, but I’m more of a list maker. I get this crazy gratification for crossing things off list.

As of lately, I’ve been speaking into existence that I’ll be getting a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport. It’s also one of the top things on my list. Can’t wait for the day that I can cross it off!

But woot, woot, you go girl!

    • I was new good at keeping a list. It’s amazing how the Law of Attraction really works! I would of never thought I would get a car this quick, but I did speak into existence I wanted the car soon and before the year is up!

I will help you speak your new 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport into existence. Make a vision board of it!
