WHERE TO BUY THE TASTIEST VALENTINE’S FOODIE GIFTS IN ATLANTA Monday 03 February, 2020
Valentine’s Day is coming and restaurant reservations may be booked but what about the love gifts? Roses and chocolate is the universal gifts of Valentine’s day, but what about the different variations of chocolate and Valentine’s goodies have you considered? I created a list of all of the places in Atlanta you can pick up a tasty & yummy treat for your sweet (heart)!
Cookie Dough Chocolate Boxes ($11) – Batter Cookie Dough is offering boxes of cookie-dough-stuffed chocolates for Valentine’s Day. Each box comes with four festive heart-shaped chocolates!
Valentine’s Milkshake (Fri., February 14) – Honeysuckle Gelato is offering a tasty Valentine’s special on February 14th. Available while supplies last, the over-the-top shake for two features the shop’s classic shake with whipped cream, two mini glazed doughnuts from Revolution Doughnuts and a choice of gelato flavor.
JJ’s x Five Daughters Bakery Collaboration – JJ’s and Five Daughters Bakery at Ponce City Market have teamed up to offer a bouquet and donut package this Valentine’s Day! With two bundle options available, orders can be placed directly on the JJ’s website here for delivery via Postmates.
Artisan Chocolate Heart Box ($24.95), Macarons Heart Box ($35) & ‘I Love You’ Macarons ($13.95) – Located in the Central Food Hall at Ponce City Market, Saint Germain Bakery is celebrating Valentine’s Day with heart-shaped boxes of artisan chocolates or macarons throughout the month, in addition to their classic ‘I Love You’ Macarons box that features six shades of pink macarons.
Valentine’s Day Cupcakes – This February, Georgetown Cupcake at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta will offer two Valentine’s-themed cupcake dozens for local delivery and nationwide shipping.
Darcy Miller x Georgetown Cupcake Sweet Talk Dozen includes 12 cupcakes decorated with fondant featuring Darcy Miller’s ‘Sweet Talk’ illustrations, and packaged in Georgetown Cupcake’s signature pink box decorated with Darcy Miller’s ‘Sweet Talk’ stickers.
Georgetown Cupcake’s Valentine’s Heart Dozen is packaged in a Limited Edition Georgetown Cupcake pink heart gift box.

Sugar Factory will also introduce two new menu items in the beginning of February.
Diamond Rosé Goblet
Prepared with Vanderpump Rosé, a fresh bright wine from the sun-drenched Cotes de Provence, France, peach schnapps, raspberry vodka and a splash of lemon-lime soda, this new goblet inspired by Lisa Vanderpump is garnished with sour watermelon gummy bears, candy ring pops and a light-up bling souvenir ring! Hearts of Love Insane Milkshake
The limited-time insane milkshake is made with a dark red chocolate ganache mug with dark chocolate hearts and sliced strawberries. It is filled with a cookies & cream milkshake topped with whipped cream, dark chocolate dipped Rice Krispy Treat heart, chocolate sprinkles and dark chocolate covered strawberries drizzled with white chocolate.
Valentine’s Flower Bouquet from A Bite of Pie. They are so pretty you are going want to stop and eat the roses (these aren’t roses they are cupcakes – 100% edible).
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries ($36 per 1/2 dozen) – Available only at Xocolatl’s micro-factory in Krog St. Market, these hand-dipped chocolate strawberries are delicious and beautiful. Dipped in Xocolatl’s award-winning chocolate and adorned with real, edible gold leaf for an extra special pop, the strawberries come in boxes by the half-dozen.

I use to live in Athens and would make the weekend journeys to Atlanta. The spaghetti intersection was crazy though. I remember quite a few of these places. Xocolatl makes chocolate tea that is wonderful. It is made with cacao. I remember they use to do tours. I am not sure if they still do them or not. They also make incredible vegan chocolate and I do believe some are low-carb too. God, I miss this place.
This makes my mouth water. I am into chocolate diet but seeing all these make me want to order one myself. This Valentine’s day, i plan to give my mom a bouquet of something edible.
These all look so amazing, it’s have to choose a favourite treat. I have to say I would probably go for the cocktail as my first choice, although I would definitely want those chocolate dipped strawberries with my cocktail.

I didn’t know they had Georgetown Cupcake in Atlantia. I knew they were in the DC area last time I was there but I didn’t know they went to other cities. They are very delicious from what I heard, I would love to try their cupcakes.

ATL is my spot. We went a few summers ago and we had so much fun. One thing about the ATL is the food!
