The Serenity Eco Luxury Tented Camp is an environmentally-friendly tented camp in Xpu-Ha, Riviera Maya, located in the heart of a pristine natural environment but near to amazing historical monuments, great leisure and entertainment facilities and some of the most beautiful natural sights in the world. Their glamping is also close to Playa del Carmen and Tulum. My first time glamping was exhilarating! I will not lie, I was nervous at first because I never stayed somewhere in a place on vacation where I would be that intimate with nature. It is not a traditional hotel/resort style setting that I was accustomed to, but I was ready for this unique experience. Some people think glamping is going in your backyard and just setting up a cute camping experience with teepees, pillows, blankets and other chic decor.
Serenity Eco Luxury Tented Camp was a little different than that. You feel like you stepped on some exotic ancient scared environment that makes you feel like you are truly one with nature. Take a look at the zen environment!
So immediate you can see the vibes of where these luxe glamping expeirence theme is headed right? I feel like I am in Indonesia and not Mexico! I feel like I got two vacation experiences in one at this place! I never been to Indonsia, but it is on my list, but it was good to know I can get a different feel while I was in Mexico. I kept saying even before I stayed at Serenity Camp and coming to Mexico, that my month experience in this country will be a spiritual one where I make peace with myself. This was definitely the perfect place, and now to show you the actual tent!
SERENITY BLISS GLAMPING TENT ROOM
I will be honest, I haven’t camped since I was 11 years old and this is nothing like it. I never really slept in nature before outside of my childhood camping, but this was an amazing glamourous camp experience. I didnt even feel like I was sleeping in a tent. It was just like staying in an upscale hotel. It was very well made and designed! I never seen anything like this before. I stayed in a BLISS ROOM which has amazing amenities!
The BLISS Tents at the Serenity Eco Luxury Tented Camp are a heavenly oasis to maximize the views of the jungle while maintaining greater privacy. These are the only tents that provide a Jacuzzi on the terrace. A king-size double bed is accompanied by services and facilities which include a desk and chair, safe, mini-fridge, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, as well as a private bathroom with a separate shower.
In the mornings there is a beautiful breakfast buffet spread to choose from. You can also order you meal a la carte here for breakfast and lunch!
XPUHA BEACH CLUB
The beautiful part about Serenity Beach club is that its only a few walking steps away from Xpu-Ha Beach in Mexico! So you get the best of both worlds, nature and proximity to a beach. Who said you have to choose this was definitely my kind of vacation! The perks of staying at Serenity Camp is getting to be apart of the Beach Club at Xpu-Ha where guest have their own amenities on the beach!
The Serenity Camp Beach Club access is for guest only. As a Serenity Camp guest you get access to exclusive area of lounge chairs and bed, restaurant and service, and even wi-fi!

Overall I had one of the best experiences I had in Mexico staying here. It is different and I never even thought it was possible to “glamp” in Mexico but now you all will know. I went completely solo, but if you need a vacation with your spouse this would be so romantic! Sometimes a little zen-ful seclusion for anyone is really good for when you travel. If you ever wanted to camp but need more upscale amenities this would definitely a perfect place to do so!

I love camping a lot. But, every once in a while, I like to glamp. Glamping in Mexico takes it to a whole other level of awesomeness. This is such a wonderful idea!
Heading to Mexico early next year and again middle of the year. I’ll be sure to look at this more thoroughly. I like the idea of glamping.
I think glamping is a great experience. To go glamping in Mexico would be so cool. The view and things to do will make for a good time.
That sounds like an intriguing place to stay. I’m curious what the room looked like. I have a friend that would love waking up right on the beach.
It’s an awesome experience especially if you’re a huge fan of the beach. I think the place is all about rest and relaxation! So laid back and full of beautiful sights!
You had me worried about this when you said “tent” but once I saw how gorgeous this place is and that it’s not like primitive camping, I added this place to my bucket list!!!
I have yet to experience glamping. The first time I saw photos of glamping, I thought it was really cool! Getting the best of both worlds. This one your featured in your post looks awesome too. I hope I can do this at least once in my lifetime!
I’ve been glamping a couple of times and loved it. It’s definitely a different experience to the camping I used to do as a kid x
They have some glamping tents in my state that I’d like to go visit. I have friends who go to Mexico twice a year (they love to dive there). I will tell them about this too. What a fun addition to add to their trip.
Hello, dear Kiwi! From behalf of the entire staff of both Serenity Eco Luxury Tented Camp and the rest of the Xperience Hotels Family, we want to say thank you for such a lovely review. We love to pamper each one of our Ambassadors (the way we love to define our Guests!) and nothing makes us happier than to hear (or read!) that you had a wonderful xperience. Come back soon!
I would love to go glamping at the Serenity Eco Luxury Tented Camp. From the looks of it, I would thoroughly enjoy my trip and glamping experience.
That looks like a really nice location to glamp at! I certainly would love to go there!
Now this is the only way that I will go camping. A fancy bathtub is my kind of roughing it.
Your pics are so amazing. I would love to go glamping there.
Going solo is a little scary for me but I’m glad you had fun! It looks like an amazing place and one of the ‘must-visit’ places. I hope to visit Mexico someday!
Thanks for sharing,
Rukh AZ.
I haven’t tried glamping. And never been to South America too. Love the signs, when you can see how far is Cuba and Miami from Mexico. This is one relaxing hotel.
I absolutely love glamping, and Mexico is so beautiful! I will totally have to keep these places in mind if I ever get to visit again.
This is a great getaway for few days. I like the deco in this camp, very unique with few those statues and sculptures.
Wow, that is such a wonderful place to visit with family. I do love the camp decor and it looks so comfortable for a stay.
Your glamping experience looks like you took a trip to Bali! It looks like it would be so much fun! I’ve always wanted to go glamping but just never have. There’s a super cute place up in the mountains here in Victoria that I’m dying to check out!
What a great site to go “glamping”. It looks amazing in your photos.
Oh I love Mexico. Perhaps next time I go I should glamp, the pics make it look really really great.
I didn’t know glamping is this amazing! I need to start doing this. I wish we have a place this beautiful here.
This looks so awesome! I’ve always wanted to try glamping!
Glamping is right up my alley! Your pictures are absolutely stunning… this must have been such a fantastic place to explore.
I’ve never been glamping before but I’d love to give it a shot. This place looks pretty!
It’s a beautiful glampsite indeed! Glamping is really fun and relaxing. Perfect for families.
Wow, this sounds like such an incredible experience. My family never does anything like this so i would be really fun to step outside of our comfort zone. What an interesting way to do family travel!
This looks so cool and fun. I would love to check it out next time when I’m in Mexico. Never tried glamping before but it sounds great!
What!? I didn’t even know this was a thing. Looks like SO much fun!R
This looks like as much camping as I could muster up. Glamping is definitely the way to go.
What wonderful post! This place looks amazing, I cant wait to visit Mexico. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
This looks like the perfect place for someone who’s “outdoorsy” Did the tent have an AC unit installed?
This is interesting. When I think of camping I think of the traditional way. A simple tent, a small one, on the ground, you have to get on your knees to get in, but it’s a cheap and nature-friendly and beautiful way to travel. I have to admit that I love how those tents look like, but I’m not sure I would love to stay in one.
We’ve never been glamping before but it’s something I’ve always wanted to do. What a fun experience!
Such a lovely place for glamping… Mexico is a beautiful little lace we wanna cost for sure… planning for next year hopefully it works out
I’ve never been glamping before but this looks awesome. I’ve always wanted to go, and in Mexico why not! Sounds like a really fun time.
I haven’t experienced glamping yet and I’d like to very soon. Hope I could visit this place.
Great post! I’ve been to Mexico but am more of a “hotel” person there. I’ve never considered glamping there but love these pics! The hammock gets me every time!
Okay, I am going glamping in Slovenia this weekend and can’t wait to visit Mexico. Have to stay in these luxury tents for sure!
This makes me want to go back to Mexico. This looks like so much fun, great places to stay.
It looks very entertaining, great places to stay.
Such a pretty place! Definitely looks like a great place to go glamping!
I am WAY too scared to camp, BUT I will GLAMP! This looks like a superb place to visit!
