WORK LATE OVERTIME FOODIE SOLUTION Wednesday 25 October, 2017
This post was sponsored Tai Pei, all opinions expressed in my post are my own.
You all know I am always on the go. I am either traveling or at some event. I rarely have time to cook and I am being honest. I love what I do but after the traveling and events, I have to come home and edit these pictures and type up a blog post (like I am doing right now) and there is no time to cook. I may not have a traditional job but I do have a job, and yes I have a job where I work at home but I am not in a kitchen all the time. I am either at home glued to my computer screen, or I am out and about. Sometimes there is no in-between except hygiene, changing clothes and sleep if I am not working at home. So when I get home and I am hungry what do I do?
I found a quick and easy option for my late night meals with Tai Pei. You all know I am a foodie and one of my favorite cuisines is Asian food! I don’t order take out enough, and why should I? Sometimes I am hungry as soon as I get home and either they are closed or its just too expensive. Most of the time I am too hungry to be waiting on Asian delivery food so I have found that Tai Pei is a great solution to my dinner option while I work.
I am a great multi-tasker so yes even as I am typing up this blog post I am eating and writing and editing photos. I don’t have to whip up something real quick on the stove with these Tai Pei frozen meals. I can put this meal together in less than 10 mins. New packaging also makes Tai Pei quick and simple to prepare in just minutes in the microwave.
Although these are microwavable, I made a personal foodie hack by taking the contents and stove top it and put it back in the container. I feel like cooked without really cooking. Yes I cheat cooked in the kitchen! I didn’t whip a meal for a family, just little old me. I am not judging me, in fact I am happy I found this as a solution because cooking is time consuming! Judge me for cutting corners so I can write and edit…judge away!
Also I know frozen food gets a bad rep but Tai Pei is different. All Tai Pei frozen entrees are made with real, pure ingredients, and no preservatives or artificial ingredients.
I like the pepper beef options. This the flavor I tried. Tai Pei entrees offer a wide range of choices each made with flavor-infused rice. I want to try the other flavors of Chicken Fried Rice, General Tso Spicy Chicken and Beef and Broccoli. You can get them at most frozen food sections of you grocer so make sure that you check the store locator to see if they have them near you. While shopping for them please use this coupon here which gives you $1 off any Tai Pei single serving bowl.
That looks like tasty late night snack. I usually go for something small, like nuts!
This sounds delish. I’ll have to see if I can find that brand at my local grocery store.
These are so delicious! I buy them often for a quick lunch. I’m a fan of the fried rice.
We keep this stuff in our freezer at all times. It’s perfect for quick meals on days when I don’t have a lot of time.
I am ALL FOR easy meals to whip up when I am short on time. I need to try these.
My family loves pepper beef and especially my hubby. Sometimes he is home alone while we are doing our girls night. So I will make pick some up for him.
Frozen food is a lot different now Han when I was younger. This Tai Pei frozen dinner looks good.
This sounds like a great option. I’m going to have to try it.
I love an easy meal and this one looks pretty tasty. I’ve never tried it before but I’ll look for it in stores.
This looks super yummy! Its always nice to have something easy to have for dinner. Especially on nights where you are tired and have been running all day. Will have to check this out!
This looks super yummy and perfect for dinner on the go. I’m going to check it out!
Frozen foods are a huge time saver for our family. During the week, it’s just dinner for 2 since my husband works nights.
We don’t mind grabbing frozen balanced meals.
I’m not a huge fan of microwaved food, but I’m glad you made the alternative to cook stove top. This looks yummy.
It’s tough to sustain your energy when you’re working late and you have nothing to eat! I think this is definitely something that I’d stock in our pantry!
I’ve never tried that brand before, it’s really interesting and it looks tasty! I love having easy to prepare meals at home in case I don’t have time to make dinner.
Isn’t that awesome! I love the idea of having a couple of these at home. It looks tasty and filling, perfect for days when you don’t have time to cook a meal.
I can see these being great for when we’re all super busy. Both the Pepper Beef and Beef and Broccoli ones sound good to me.
This sounds really good! I think it would make a great lunch option too. I am the queen of leftovers. I make a ton of food one night (for my family) and can eat it for at least 2 or 3 meals.
This looks like so tasty! Do they have other flavors? It’s very convenient!
MMmmmmm I love Pepper Steak. This is a great on the go meal or when you get home late and need something quick!
i would love to give this stuff a try! I really love quick and easy Chinese food.
I love that you don’t have to eat junk when you get home late. I mean ice cream for dinner is what I hoped for as a kid, but it’s nto really what I want!
We are on the go most nights, so meals like these are such a relief. With beef and veggies, it’s a complete meal with no clean up.
OMG, I have to find these! I love thinly sliced beef stir fried in black pepper sauce. These Tai Pei bowls would be as close as I can get to the real thing! Yum!
This Tai Pei bowl will fill you up good. I love the combination of rice, veggies and beef with black pepper sauce. I will look for this next time I do my grocery shopping. I want to try the Beef and Broccoli and the General Tso’s Spicy Chicken. Yummy!
These sound like a great snack, I have issues with cooking due to my mobility so I am always on the lookout for good snacks for bad days.
Tai Pei food is so yummy! I’m so glad they have frozen food options. I have to cook gluten free for my family, and I know their restaurant has lots of gluten free options. I hope they have some in their frozen foods, too.
i haven’t seen this in the grocery store but i will definitely be keeping my eyes open. it looks incredible, and i’m all for making meals as easy as possible when i work late.
Interesting! I always find myself working late and neglecting to eat. I am totally going to have to check this out.
I love Asian cuisine. I need to try these meal options. Thanks for sharing.
I am the same! I like to take it out of the container and place on the stove. I think it is a healthier option as well.
This really looks like a great option! I’m always in favour of anything that I can eat at my desk, saving the lunchtime!
These meals would be perfect on the nights I want to cook. They are perfect for my son because he can make them in his own.
These meals would be perfect for me while I am at work! I am often at my regular job trying to get stuff done for both my job and blog LOL!!! So in order to keep moving, I would need something like this where I can eat and work!
Noodles! Its my ultimate overtime bestie 🙂
I want it hot and spicy to help me shake my senses.
This looks great! I’m all for convenient meals!
I love noodles! I can eat them everyday truly.
I like the sound of a frozen meal that is tasty and it’s made out of natural ingredients. As you said, most of the frozen meals are not healthy at all. And they taste funny in my opinion. It’s great that you found the exception!
I have never heard of that brand before, but it sure looks good! I’m always up for trying new things, and this looks like something perfect to test, thanks for sharing!
I can totally relate to this article! Having a simple delicious meal option is a blessing. Thanks for sharing! The Pepper Beef looks yummy.
These look like they are amazing and easy meals. I need to pick some of these up for sure to have on hand.
These sound great for a quick meal on the go. I wish they had more vegetable options though. I would try the veggie rolls.
I am all for easy meals and thus enjoy preparing for the week on weekends
Also enjoy ramen noodles because they are the fastest way to have a hit dish when you are not prepared.
I tried this one time and it’s so good. Really perfect for a go-to quick meal and yes, work late meal like when blogging.
I have actually tried these before. I am more of a beef and broccoli type of person though rather than pepper.
This looks really good and it will make the perfect easy lunch. I would like to try the chicken fried rice.
