I had a fab time co-hosting, excuse me, tri-hosting an awesome event filled with fun and entertainment around the Thanksgiving Holidays! The event was held at the Microsoft Store Lenox Mall located in Atlanta,Ga in which we integrated the ‘Season of Giving’ by having a Dance off & a tweet-a-ton (#3GTweetup).
I linked up with Atlanta’s Publicity PoweR Girl Lillie Mae (LillieMaePR.com) & the BFFs (Blog Fab Fashionistas) creator Nikka Shae aka OhNikka! We gathered a great group of women to have a great time with games + goodies + giving for the holiday season.
GAMES
At the Microsoft store, we were able to play the newest XBox Kinetic dance game,Dance Central 3. The Kinetic game system is completely controller-free, and rather than taking turns making moves, two players simply dance to the beat of a chosen song. Dance Central 3 is super cool in which it can sensor accurate dance moves that are taught per song and the ladies had a ball with that!
The ladies got to dance to some fun songs such as Maroon 5 ft. Christina Aguilera – “Moves Like Jagger”, LMFAO – “Sexy And I Know It”, Usher ft. Will.I.Am – “OMG”, Cali Swag District – “Teach Me How to Dougie”, Cupid – “Cupid Shuffle”, and more!
GIVE
So besides the games & goodies, we wanted to make sure we did something to incorporate giving to those in need around the holidays. We asked each of the ladies who attended to bring some canned goods to sponsor a local family in the Atlanta area and to provide donations for the Atlanta Missionhousing community center.
