Where to Go Glamping in Mexico: Serenity Eco Luxury Tented Camp by Xperience Hotels Wednesday 11 July, 2018

The Serenity Eco Luxury Tented Camp is an environmentally-friendly tented camp in Xpu-Ha, Riviera Maya, located in the heart of a pristine natural environment but near to amazing historical monuments, great leisure and entertainment facilities and some of the most beautiful natural sights in the world. Their glamping is also close to Playa del Carmen and Tulum. Designed to be a sustainable eco-resort that demonstrates how it is possible to combine ecology and luxury, the Serenity Eco Luxury Tented Camp provides safari-style tented accommodation fitted with all of the features required by experienced modern travelers, as well as a full range of complementary facilities such as restaurant, swimming pool, bar, spa and more.

My first time glamping was exhilarating! I will not lie, I was nervous at first because I never stayed somewhere in a place on vacation where I would be that intimate with nature. It is not a traditional hotel/resort style setting that I was accustomed to, but I was ready for this unique experience. Some people think glamping is going in your backyard and just setting up a cute camping experience with teepees, pillows, blankets and other chic decor.

Serenity Eco Luxury Tented Camp was a little different than that. You feel like you stepped on some exotic ancient scared environment that makes you feel like you are truly one with nature. Take a look at the zen environment!

So immediate you can see the vibes of where these luxe glamping expeirence theme is headed right? I feel like I am in Indonesia and not Mexico! I feel like I got two vacation experiences in one at this place! I never been to Indonsia, but it is on my list, but it was good to know I can get a different feel while I was in Mexico. I kept saying even before I stayed at Serenity Camp and coming to Mexico, that my month experience in this country will be a spiritual one where I make peace with myself. This was definitely the perfect place, and now to show you the actual tent!

SERENITY BLISS GLAMPING TENT ROOM

I will be honest, I haven’t camped since I was 11 years old and this is nothing like it. I never really slept in nature before outside of my childhood camping, but this was an amazing glamourous camp experience. I didnt even feel like I was sleeping in a tent. It was just like staying in an upscale hotel. It was very well made and designed! I never seen anything like this before. I stayed in a BLISS ROOM which has amazing amenities!

The BLISS Tents at the Serenity Eco Luxury Tented Camp are a heavenly oasis to maximize the views of the jungle while maintaining greater privacy. These are the only tents that provide a Jacuzzi on the terrace. A king-size double bed is accompanied by services and facilities which include a desk and chair, safe, mini-fridge, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, as well as a private bathroom with a separate shower.

In the mornings there is a beautiful breakfast buffet spread to choose from. You can also order you meal a la carte here for breakfast and lunch!

XPUHA BEACH CLUB

The beautiful part about Serenity Beach club is that its only a few walking steps away from Xpu-Ha Beach in Mexico! So you get the best of both worlds, nature and proximity to a beach. Who said you have to choose this was definitely my kind of vacation! The perks of staying at Serenity Camp is getting to be apart of the Beach Club at Xpu-Ha where guest have their own amenities on the beach!

The Serenity Camp Beach Club access is for guest only. As a Serenity Camp guest you get access to exclusive area of lounge chairs and bed, restaurant and service, and even wi-fi!

Serenity Eco Luxury Tented Camp is the first real luxury glamping in Riviera Maya. Book the Serenity Eco Luxury Tented Camp here on the official website of Xperience Hotels to get the best possible rates and conditions. Discover all of the pleasures that await you in this luxury tented camp in Xpu-Ha.

Overall I had one of the best experiences I had in Mexico staying here. It is different and I never even thought it was possible to “glamp” in Mexico but now you all will know. I went completely solo, but if you need a vacation with your spouse this would be so romantic! Sometimes a little zen-ful seclusion for anyone is really good for when you travel. If you ever wanted to camp but need more upscale amenities this would definitely a perfect place to do so!

I haven’t tried glamping. And never been to South America too. Love the signs, when you can see how far is Cuba and Miami from Mexico. This is one relaxing hotel.

  • I absolutely love glamping, and Mexico is so beautiful! I will totally have to keep these places in mind if I ever get to visit again.

  • Le says:

This looks like the perfect place for someone who’s “outdoorsy” Did the tent have an AC unit installed?

  • This is interesting. When I think of camping I think of the traditional way. A simple tent, a small one, on the ground, you have to get on your knees to get in, but it’s a cheap and nature-friendly and beautiful way to travel. I have to admit that I love how those tents look like, but I’m not sure I would love to stay in one.

  • Heather says:

We’ve never been glamping before but it’s something I’ve always wanted to do. What a fun experience!

  • Great post! I’ve been to Mexico but am more of a “hotel” person there. I’ve never considered glamping there but love these pics! The hammock gets me every time!

  • Prerna says:

Okay, I am going glamping in Slovenia this weekend and can’t wait to visit Mexico. Have to stay in these luxury tents for sure!
