Atlanta got a taste of that signature Nevermore energy this month when Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay) and Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair) descended on the city for the WEDNESDAY Season 2 premiere celebration hosted by Netflix. Fans flocked to Plaza Theatre for a special screening, but the night was more than just your average red carpet moment—it was an Addams-approved affair full of ghoulish charm and modern-day magic.

Before the screening, invited influencers and tastemakers found themselves transported into a macabre-meets-Michelin mood at Southern Belle, one of Atlanta’s culinary gems transformed into the ultimate gothic-glam hideaway. Picture spooky decor, dark florals, and cocktails moody enough to make Morticia proud. Specialty bites and Halloween-in-August treats gave the party a perfectly eerie edge—you could say it was a menu Enid Sinclair herself would have devoured with wide-eyed enthusiasm (and maybe a little side-eye from Wednesday too).

Of course, the real thrill was the chance to meet Joy Sunday and Emma Myers in person. The two stars reminded everyone why their characters are fan favorites, joking, chatting, and bringing Nevermore Academy vibes to the ATL.
