Summer is approaching and some major blockbuster films are hitting the big screen soon! There is something for everyone from comedies, animation, thrillers, dramas, continuous sequels, actions and more. I am super excited to debut at least 8 movies you should run out and must see this summer 2018! Check out all of the trailers, dates and synopsis below and mark your calenders!
JUNE
OCEAN’S 8
(Warner Bros) – 6/8/18
Synopsis: Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) attempts to pull off the heist of the century at New York City’s star-studded annual Met Gala. Her first step is to assemble the perfect crew: Amita, Tammy, Lou, Constance, Eight Ball, and Rose.

SUPERFLY
(Sony) – 6/15/18
Synopsis: the film that helped define a genre in its characters, look, sound, and feel – is reimagined with Director X, director of legendary music videos (Drake, Rihanna), introducing it to a new generation. The screenplay is by Alex Tse.

UNCLE DREW
(Lionsgate) – 6/29/18
Synopsis: fter draining his life savings to enter a team in the Rucker Classic street ball tournament in Harlem, Dax (Lil Rel Howery) is dealt a series of unfortunate setbacks, including losing his team to his longtime rival (Nick Kroll). Desperate to win the tournament and the cash prize, Dax stumbles upon the man, the myth, the legend UNCLE DREW (NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving) and convinces him to return to the court one more time. The two men embark on a road trip to round up Drew’s old basketball squad (Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber, Reggie Miller, Nate Robinson, and Lisa Leslie) and prove that a group of septuagenarians can still win the big one.

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: SUMMER VACATION

There are a lot of great movies coming out this summer; I know my kids will be seeing a lot of them. As teenagers, they go to a lot of movies. I want to see Oceans 8!
The only movie I was excited about was black panther but I gotta do better cause these are some great movies.. at least the trailers look great and my hubby is a big movie buff
The two that stood out to me the most was Denzel Washington’s “Equalizer” and “Darkest Minds.” I probably won’t be able to watch until they eventually air on HBO or Netflix.
I haven’t heard of any of these movies on your list before, I must live under a rock lol! We love having family movie time over the weekend we’ll be sure to add some of these to our line up!
I don’t even have kids but I’m excited to hear there’s a Hotel Transylvania 3! haha. My hubby and I are both looking forward to the new Star Wars universe movie, Solo.

it’s kind of awesome that after all of the movies they are doing one, with women being the main focus. i love all of the women in the fim also gonna be great.
I’m interested in seeing oceans 8, but to be honest the only movie I’m really excited about for this summer is Jurrasic World, I know they aren’t the greatest movies but I still LOVE them.
Honestly, I forgot watching movies in moviehouses since I gave birth to my youngest.. it’s just hard to.watch with a baby in two at the same time I find it impractical to pay for my baby’s seat when in fact he will.not use the seat and.will just stay on my lap.
I love Sandra Bullock and didn’t know that she had this movie in the works. Denzel can do no wrong! Mark W is the man! I’ll have a reason to escape the heat.
