A Movie You Must See This Holiday: Daddy’s Home {Review} Monday 21 December, 2015
What are you guys doing on Christmas Day? Like after you open all of your gifts? Well in my family we always like to go to the movies because it’s always a blockbuster hit at the box office and Daddy’s Home will be the perfect comedy to see this holiday!
Synopsis:Brad Taggart (Will Ferrell) is a kindhearted radio executive who wants to be the best possible stepfather to his wife’s (Linda Cardellini) two children. When her freewheeling ex-husband Dusty (Mark Wahlberg) breezes back into town, Brad’s feeling of insecurity quickly develops into an inferiority complex. As Dusty demonstrates his flair for athletics, home repair and bad-boy charisma, Taggart finds himself in a no-holds-barred battle to one-up his rival and win the approval of his family (via daddyshomemovie.com).

My opinion: I will definitely recommend this movie. Will Ferrell is a genius with his comedy. Will sure does love being the awkward step-family member doesn’t he? He was first a step brother and now a stepfather (movies are in no relation to each other). Will’s character Brad is an overall good guy who is tries to be a great stepfather to his not so accepting stepchildren of his wife. Brad is straight-laced and maybe considered a cornball – and then the father Dusty (Mark Walberg) gets out of jail to step up and be a father again. It’s exactly what you think – the battle of who is the better day with lots of laughs. I laughed so hard in this movie I was crying real tears. If I am crying real tears then this movie is a hit. If you need some super laughs during this holiday season – this is the movie to see. It’s Rated PG – so you could take your kids, but it could get a little edgy! Laugh your way to the movies this Christmas!

Oh this movie sounds like a laugh out loud riot! We will have to check it out but probably when it comes to Redbox. We don’t go to the movies very often.
