December’s Night Market is coming back, The Home Depot Backyard will be taken over by the smells, sounds and bright colors of a globally inspired market, featuring Atlanta?s top culinary talent, live music, and a colorful array of artisan vendors to kick off the holiday season.

These are photos from November’s Night Market. Lots of food, drinks and fun. Its was a good event. You know why I enjoy Night Market events, its because festival season dwindle down in the Fall and Winter…and this series gives you a little festival vibes. Its definitely a great experience even with the seasons changing and I am anticipating the holiday edition!

Night Market is delighted to welcome even more of Atlanta?s top chefs and one-of-a-kind artisan vendors for December.Night Market is creating  a festive twist this month and truly make it special for the holiday edition, making it a unique experience even for guests who have attended previously.

About The Chefs & Mixologists:

American Cut is changing the way we picture old school steakhouses and John Adamson is helping them do that. With dishes like Miyazaki Wagyu Strip and a 40 oz. Porterhouse, guests are sure to enjoy a steakhouse feel with a modern twist.

Brezza Cucina, celebrity chef Jonathan Waxman?s latest creation, is located in Ponce City Market and combines old Italian cuisine with new American and specifically, Californian influences. Executive Chef Andrew Cacioppo is delivering bold flavors with dishes like JW Chicken and Kale Salad and the famed Gnocchi.

Fox Bros Bar-B-Q opened on Dekalb Avenue in 2007 and has quickly become an Atlanta staple. Jonathan Fox and his brother, Justin Fox, were inspired by Texas style barbecue and southern spice and through this combination of influences have created their signature cuisine.

Hattie B?s has been a Nashville staple for years and finally, last year, Atlanta learned what hot chicken really is. John Lasater started in fine dining, but quickly discovered his passion and expertise lay in something simpler. Hattie B?s has a simplified menu, excellent ingredients and a lot of heart behind it.

Hawkers Asian Street Fare first opened in 2011 with the goal of redefining Asian street fare. Executive Chef Travis Collum is taking flavors inspired by those in Asia and making them approachable and modern.

Holmes, located in downtown Alpharetta, is known for bringing local and fresh ingredients to the table and making every experience a unique one. Chef Taylor Neary is serving eclectic dishes with seasonal ingredients like Cauliflower with Jalapeno Aioli and Crispy Octopus with Hot Honey.

Honeysuckle Gelato opened in 2011 as a food truck and quickly took off from there. Khatera Ballard, Wes Jones and Jackson Smith founded the ice cream shop as a passion project and now have locations in Ponce City Market and Optimist Hall in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Kyma has been a Buckhead staple since opening in 2001, known for its upscale Greek cuisine. Founded and Executive Chef Pano Karatassos prepares both contemporary and traditional Greek food with a large emphasis on high-quality seafood.

Shake Shack was founded on the idea of making a simple burger something spectacular. Now with 130 locations through the country, they are serving up burgers, chicken, frozen custard and more. Brian Higdon is managing the Atlanta locations and ensuring you only get the best when you visit.

The Spotted Trotter has been dubbed by Kevin Ouzts as ?new American charcuterie? where he takes the charcuterie we all know and love and amps it up. He is utilizing the ingredients and agriculture of the Southeast and creating something unique to this area. While their offerings are extensive, some of the top picks are the Black Pepper and Sorghum Smoked Pork Belly and the Andouille.

Sweet Auburn BBQ has been a labor of love for Howard Hsu and his sister, Anita Hsu. They started by winning Chomp and Stomp Chili Cook Offs, grew to a food truck to Sweet Auburn Market and finally, opened a full restaurant in Poncey-Highlands. Sweet Auburn BBQ is known for its traditional southern barbecue recipes with an Asian twist like Pimento Cheese Wontons or Coconut Lemongrass Ribs.

Wheelies Tiny Donuts is taking the nationwide donut craze to a whole new level. Michael Sloan has quickly made a name for his food truck in the community with the ?tiniest donuts on Earth.? With flavors like Vanilla Bean and Orange Almond, you should save room for dessert and then some.

Kellie Thorn, famed bartender and mixologist, joined forces with celebrity chef, Hugh Acheson, to open Empire State South in 2010. Through this, she developed an impressive and creative bar program eventually leading her to become Beverage Director of all of Chef Acheson?s restaurants.

Tiffanie Barriere, also known as The Drinking Coach, is a renowned mixologist and bartender. She landed on the Atlanta bar scene at One Flew South where she curated her craft for seven years before moving. She has been featured in New York TimesGarden & Gun and Atlanta Magazine.
