ATLANTA FESTIVAL INVITE: Cherry Blossom Festival #CherryFest17 Tuesday 14 March, 2017
Hey guys! Spring is approaching and it will officially be festival season soon! What I love about Atlanta is that there are so many festivals and events to go to, especially in the hotter months and I am excited. I will be attending my first Cherry Blossom Festival and I definitely be doing a fun recap of the event with you all soon. So what is the Cherry Blossom Festival about?
The Third Annual Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival is a two-day, free-to- the-public event that brings together Brookhaven community residents and visitors from all over to showcase the businesses and attractions that make the community so special. Attracting over 15,000 attendees, the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival offers fun activities for the whole family, including a Children’s Village, Classic Car Show, Arts & Crafts Marketplace, Musical Performances and Pet World!
a. Children’s Village – Enjoy plenty of shade and seating as the kids enjoy face painting, balloon twisting, bounce houses, rock wall climbing, games and more.
b. Classic Car Show – Love hot rods? Get ready to check out antique cars, trucks and customs. Prizes are awarded to “Best in Show”, “Best Interior”, etc.
c. Pet World – No need to exclude your favorite furry friends from all of the family fun! Bring them along for the dog shows, parade, costume contest, adoption-area, games and prizes. There will even be animal care professionals on deck to answer all of your pet-care questions.
d. Musical Performances – Take a break and listen to the cool sounds from the Breeze Kings, Gurufish, Ed Roland and the Sweet Tea Project, Wesley Cook, Blair Crimmins and the Hookers, Willie Ziavino and the C.O.T. Band, DYN-O- MITE, House Broken and more local student talent.

I stand in awe every time I see cherry blossoms! They are just so pretty and I am not surprised that festivals are celebrated during this time. There have been so many articles I’ve read about restaurants, hotels, activities, and festivals in Atlanta. I think I am just about ready to move there.
I would love to come! We don’t have Cherry Blossom festivals up north 🙁 One of these days I’ll make it down for one! I can’t wait to hear all about it!

I’ve seen a cherry blossom festival once and it is SO amazing! Such a fun and gorgeous festival! My family enjoyed it! Wish we could see it again!!
