[Car Review] Just Kidding Around in the 2018 Toyota C-HR Thursday 26 April, 2018

I recently had a big kid moment with some friends. We were supposed to go out of town, but plans fell through, but luckily we live in Atlanta and its always something random to do for fun. I go a chance to test drive the new 2018 Toyota C-HR crossover and we had a good time in the city with it.

The fair came into town and my friends and I was in the area and we were just driving around and said why not? Let try to get on some rides!

Well it was a fail and a win. At first the security guard didnt let us in. We got there super late, and they were closing. We convinced the security guards to let us go inside and get a funnel cake, he laughed at us and let us in! We did get in, and was able to ride 1 ride! Yay one ride is better than no ride! It was an air ride where all three of us could get on and spin around in the air for a bit. Another win, we didnt have to give tickets, the person who controlled the ride just told us to come on because we were his last riders. He was happy we got in! Made us feel like a big kid!

Earlier before we went to the fair, we went to two events and had a great time. We found this really pretty colorful mural done by one of the best local artist in the city, Greg Mike. Greg Mike has been splashing so much color in the city, we had to stop by and take some impromptu photos. We literally pulled over the Toyota C-HR kinda in the middle of the street and got to snapping. We even had help from some passerbys.

This big mouth character is actually a personality created by Greg Mike called Larry LoudMouf. It is Greg Mike signature, just like Mickey Mouse was Walt Disney’s signature character. If you see Larry Loudmouf you know some amazing art is nearby! Danielle, Talaia and I call ourselves #LushYumBeauty (lushworthy.com, wholeyum.com and kiwithebeauty.com) with our 3 blogs coming together for some fun blogger girl magic. We always like to travel and do fun things local, roadtrip-wise or interntational. We are always down for whatever…so just like this day…we just wanted to have a little fun with a pop of color. Just like Toyota slogan for this car…we Colored Outside the lines this day! Speaking of the Toyota (which I literally had it parked in the street with a little traffic) here are some of the cool features in it!

Auto-dimming rearview mirror with integrated backup camera display (My favorite feature on the car. I have never driven a car where the backup camera display was embedded in the mirror. Now that was hi-tech and fancy. Also very convenient we all use the rearview mirror to look behind us so why not put the backup camera in this mirror?).

This is blogging 101. Never miss an opportunity to get a great shot! Even if you gotta park your car in the street. No worries, it was low traffic this day, and there were additional lanes for cars to go around us. There were even cars slowing up for us so we can take our shots! I love it – our local community understood we had to get this shot!

Just to prove the car was in the street a little. Hey random biker!

What I got from driving around in the Toyota this day is that growing up is a big trap. Sometimes we get so busy being an adult we forget we are just really big kids on the inside. Yes you should indulge in a fair ride every now and then. Kids aren’t only ones who can have fun! And everything doesnt have to be planned and scheduled all the time. I think “jobs” have taught us all that everything has to be planned out. Kids just go with the flow. Sometimes as adults its ok to go with the flow too. I am so happy I have friends like Danielle and Talaia that enjoy a good spontaneous day/night out! It’s ok to just get out and go, and don’t have concrete plans, just make it up as you ride around. If we didn’t we would of never found this mural or went to the fair (for free). Be open minded and just go places!
