Car Review | Painting the Town Red in the new 2016 Mazda 6 Friday 02 October, 2015

It’s another car review and I am excited to tell you all about the new 2016 Mazda 6 I got the chance to drive around town in. I am not gonna lie, I love being a blogger right now and getting an opportunity to test so many new cars on the market. With this car review, because it was extra special because it was my first time drive a red car. Yup…never drove one before. I guess because I always associated red with super fast cars or the ones traffic cops like to stop. Well lucky for me, no traffic cop stop me – I was good!

The first place I drove my car was to a Family Dollar pre-event in here in Atlanta. I co-hosted this event with V103 radio personality Ramona DeBrauex to give away fun beauty products, giftcards and giveaways to people at the local Family Dollar in town. Pulled up to the event in style, as I had a great time with the pre-pump party of Family Dollar interactive 2 day Atlanta Beauty Affair called Family Dollar Fabulous! I will be recapping it next week so stay tuned for that!

But lets get into the spec of this beautiful red car! The 2016 Mazda Sports Sedan 6 is in a haute shade of Soul Red, and boy did it grab a lot of attention. It looks sporty and chic but its a real easy ride! The call this car the cure for the common ride…and they are right! Fun fact* This car is made for racing, so yes you can take this car from the street to the racetrack!

Standard equipment featured in this car, including 19” wheels, navigation system, rear spoiler, dual power front seats in leather, Bluetooth, rearview camera, paddle shifters, power moon roof, LED lighting, Bose stereo, folding rear seat, and much more. It has adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam headlamps, lane departure warning, active grill shutters, and blind spot monitoring with exceptional fuel economy! All of this felt very familiar driving as it felt very similar to the 2016 Mazda CX-5 I drove this summer. Best part of course is that this is a luxury made car but priced for mainstream affordability based priced at $30,195.

I truly enjoyed the ride and painting the tow red in the 2016 Mazda 6!
