Halloween has came this year so quick to me! Is it me…because I could of sworn I was just enjoying the start of summer (as I pack away all my summer clothes). Halloween has always signified a change in the season, the weather and the start of the holiday seasons! Halloween is known for the costumes of course, but we know we are all here for the candy! Who is we…the kids? We, meaning me…yes me grown adult I want some candy!
I always do, but I cant go trick or treating and knocking on doors with my cute little adorable costume anymore, unless I have a kid. Well guess what, I don’t have a kid, I supposed I could borrow my nephew but even still I would look so silly with my own Halloween basket asking for candy and yelling “Trick or Treat”! Yeah the person giving out the candy would instantly look at me and go “This must be a trick so no treat for you!”…so to save myself the embarrassment…I dont go trick or treating…but I do want candy and even to give some to my adult candy loving friends!
I came up with a concept of Chic O Treat! Where its Chic to get a trick no matter how old you are. I want to make Chic O Treat BOO Buckets to participate in #BOOITFORWARD! Here are the items you inspire you to make your own Chic O Treat Boo Bucket!
I love the little soda pk #MiniMonsters! It has a cute design on it, and they are season with little monster images on 7UP® 8oz 6pk, A&W 8oz 6pk, Canada Dry 8oz 6pk and Sunkist® 8oz 6pk Halloween cans. I also bought this mega candy pack Mars Mixed Minis 52 oz which as 250 pieces! Thats a lot of candy and enough to stuff any Chic o Treat Boo Bucket!
This is how I assembled mine! Along with the candy I put in some festive cups with paper straws, orange glasses (festively chic), and laced it with tissue paper with the candy and soda! Simple and thoughtful. I’m giving this Chic O’ Treat basket to a good friend of mine. I know she will love it!
I just love these cups! Too cute!
The most important part of this Chic O Treat BOO Bucket is the cards that come with it. As I mention I am participating in a #BOOitForward movement…sort of like a new tradition to the holiday. Instead of waiting to receive candy you give! This is extra fun for the adults…especially the parents know some of you moms & dads steal your kids candy. So rather than feeling like you are too old to celebrate…Give treats with no tricks! Surprise a friend, family member, co-worker or even an unsuspecting neighbor! Once they read the card, now they have to #BOOITFORWARD too! Think of it as Halloween Karma!
BOO kit instructions:
- Cut out this “We’ve been BOO’d sign.
- Fold the “You’ve been BOO’d” greeting card (page 2) and tape openings together.
- Include the card and sign when gifting BOO bundles.
Printable BOO card here.
Now I found a fun way to use some of the leftover candy in the mega size bag! I made Halloween Snicker Pops! Very much similar to cake pops…but instead of cake – Snickers! Easy and tasty treat for friends and chic-o-treaters!
- Orange Chocolate Candy Melts
- Vegetable Oil
- Snickers Fun Sized
- Paper Straws
- Get some fun sized Snickers Bars. Per Snicker Pop – you will need 3 fun sized bars.
- Roll 3 Snicker Bars into your palms to form a ball. Your hand will naturally melt the chocolate.
- Melt some chocolate candy melts into a bowl. Stick paper straws into melts and stick into snickers balls. Insert the Snicker Balls into the freezer for 10 mins.
- Take the snicker melts out the freezer. Dip into chocolate melts individually until the Snicker Balls are fully coated. Freeze for another 10 mins. Feel free to repeat step 4 for double coating of chocolate.

Will You Be Chic O’ Treating This Year?
I want someone to give me a boo bucket this year. What a fun idea this is.
This is such a cute halloween treat idea! We’ll be hosting a big party this year for family and friends and I know these little favors would be a huge hit!
I want a boo bucket!! I may make 2 of these for my boys when we have our yearly movie marathon on Halloween night. Very cute idea and I can see them LOVING it!
I won’t be chic o treating this year (but it’s a cute idea). Instead we’re having a family reunion and family from everywhere is coming.
I love your Boo It Forward kit! It has all of my favorites. Maybe someone will boo me forward this year. 🙂
This is such a great idea for older kids who are no longer able to go trick or treating. I love this idea.
That is such a great basket! I love the Drink Up Witches cups.
That is so cute! This could be used as a nice basket gift for the kids, too. Minus the Drink Up Witches cups. 😉
I love those festive cups you added. What a fun Boo it Forward!
These buckets are so cute. And I LOVE those cute little Canada Dry cans…
Adorable. I love those cups too and I agree that even as adults we should still get some candy.
I need those cans of Canada Dry, they’re awesome! I have to look for them the next time I’m shopping.
That looks like an amazing collection you put together. We will be taking the girls out for a bit and then we will hand out stuff too – we normally give out a box of apple or orange juice and a box of raisins.
What a bucket of fun! I’d love to get this or give it!
I like the idea of a sweet treat bucket for adults. After all, we need some Halloween love too, especially after taking the kids trick or treating!
Oh this is just too fun. I love the designs on the cans. I need to get some!
Aww, I love the idea of a Boo Bucket for adults! We need some fun goodies at Halloween too!
I love those little cans of soda, they are so cute! They definitely would be the perfect size for kids.
Love any reason to have some good candy. Thank you for sharing.
These are so much fun! We haven’t been able to boo anyone before but I hope to this year!
This is a cute idea. It would makes a great gift bag after a halloween party.
This turned out so cute! I also love halloween and all the CANDY!
Chic O Treat is a clever idea. I treat my grownup friends, too. I just may pick a few to spring this awesome idea upon.
What a fantastic idea! We used to have a thing in our neighborhood, like a secret spook, where people would leave a bag on a porch anonymously full of Halloween stuff and they in turn would need to do it for someone else. So fun.
We have a similar tradition in our neighborhood. We used to call it being ghosted, but changed it when the slang meaning meant being killed. EEK!
It’s so exciting to see Halloween themed items. This can really excite kids for Halloween.
I am definitely going to bookmark this because I know my daughter will appreciate it.
Fun stuff! We love Halloween here. My husband’s favorite holiday I think… he has a fog machine and all sort of fun stuff.
I love this idea of giving out candy and paying it forward! Love your kits too, too cute
What a fun idea! I love unique Halloween ideas I can do wit my kids!
What a cute idea!! My son would love those cups and cans.
I love this idea and I want my own boo bucket too. I wish I could trick or treat myself, but I always make sure I get some of my favorite candy.
Love the name of the “boo it forward” campaign. Too cute!
I’ve never boo’d anyone or been boo’d before. It sounds like so much fun though!
