Comcast South Names Atlanta Mother of Five as Internet Essentials Ambassador of the Year: Shante Robinson Monday 08 May, 2023
Let’s take a moment to acknowledge the extraordinary achievements of Shante Robinson, a dedicated mother of five and accomplished manager at Comcast in Metro Atlanta, just in time for Mother’s Day!
Comcast South has honored Shante Robinson, a dedicated mother of five, for her outstanding service to the Atlanta community by selecting her as the Internet Essentials Ambassador of the Year.
In addition, Shante has collaborated with various organizations to enhance the quality of life in Atlanta, including partnering with 100 Black Men of Atlanta to distribute packed lunches to the homeless and staffing an Atlanta Public School event that provided 500 laptops to students.
Robinson joined Comcast over twenty years ago as a residential representative and eventually progressed to the Comcast Business team while raising her family. The Internet Essentials Ambassador initiative recognizes individuals who are positively impacting their communities and is part of Comcast’s commitment to providing affordable internet access to underprivileged families.
Comcast’s Project Up, a $1 billion investment aimed at promoting digital equity across America, relies heavily on the Internet Essentials program, which Robinson has significantly contributed to in various communities throughout Atlanta. As we celebrate exceptional women and mothers such as Robinson this Mother’s Day and moving forward, we draw inspiration and wisdom from her.
