DISNEY INVITE: I’M HEADING TO LOS ANGELES FOR THE DISNEY’S NUTCRACKER EVENT | #DisneysNutcrackerEvent #ABCTVEvent Thursday 25 October, 2018

The pixie dust has been sprinkled on me! I am going to LA for another press event for the upcoming Disney’s Nutcracker and the Four Realms. I cannot wait I have been excited about it since I seen the first posters and trailer. Its such a colorful and whimiscal movie and its going to be fun seeing this movie with a holiday live-action setting on the big screen. I will get a chance to interview the star, Mackenzie Foy, who plays Clara in this film.
All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston, and inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale.
I am super excited because not only will we be interviewing Mackenzie Foy, but I will also get to chat with the beautiful Misty Copeland. If you don’t know, Misty Copeland is a dancer for ABT (American Ballet Theatre), and in 2015, Misty became the first African American woman to be promoted to PRINCIPAL dancer in ABT’s 75-year history! I love Misty Copeland and it will be an honor to interview her!
I am a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh and there is another treat I can’t wait to experience when on this press trip. Christopher Robin, live-Action Adventure movie for the Whole Family Comes Home on Digital and Blu-ray™ Nov. 6. Embark on a spirited adventure with grown-up Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh, and friends, and go behind the scenes to discover how Disney’s beloved characters are brought to life. The other bloggers and I will be experiencing a Friendsgiving lunch to commemorate the release of the film.
We will have the chance to interview Jim Cummings (voice of “Pooh and “Tigger”). I am a big kid who never grew up from my favorite Disney cartoon character, Winnie the Pooh, so this is a dream come true. #ChristopherRobinBluray
ABC show “The Kids Are Alright” (airs Tuesdaysat 8:30|7:30c on ABC) which is a comedy that follows a traditional Irish-Catholic family in the 1970’s. #TheKidsAreAlright
We will also have the chance to learn more about the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff “Station 19” (airs Thursdays at 9|8c on ABC). #Station19
We will have an amazing dance class with Dancing with The Stars and Dancing with The Stars Juniors mentors Gleb Savchenko, Alan Bersten, and Brandon Armstrong. Dancing with the Stars is on Mondays 8/7c on ABC. #DWTS
