Disneyland Resort: Visit “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” at Avengers Campus Friday 21 October, 2022

Disneyland Resort will celebrate the exciting new film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” with special offerings at Disney California Adventure Park and an art installation in Downtown Disney District – available from Nov. 11, 2022 (the film’s release date) through Jan. 8, 2023.

Beginning November 11, 2022, on the date of the release of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” and through January 8, 2023, guests can encounter, learn from and celebrate the arrival of new visiting warriors, taste Wakanda-inspired delicacies, discover props from the film and more in Avengers Campus and beyond at Disney California Adventure Park, plus, pose with a special art installation at the Downtown Disney District. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, guests are invited to join their own chapter in that journey with exciting, limited-time experiences that highlight the sights, sounds, flavors and power of Wakanda:

During “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” in Avengers Campus at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif., guests can meet M’Baku, one of Wakanda’s greatest warriors and chieftain of the Jabari Clan. M’Baku will invite recruits to join in “The Way of the Jabari,” an all-new experience that will share some of the culture of the Jabari Clan through chants and percussion.

  • At Avengers Campus, guests may encounter the next warrior taking on the legendary mantle of the Black Panther. Plus, M’Bakuwill invite recruits at Avengers Campus to join in the all-new “The Way of the Jabari” experience.
  • Near the site of the Collector’s Fortress, The Black Panther Celebration Garden will honor the legacy of the Black Panther in Wakandan lore.

Peri-Peri Chicken (Flavors of Wakanda marketplace in Hollywood Backlot) and yellow Jollof Rice. Available during the celebration of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” in Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, Calif. At Flavors of Wakanda marketplace, guests can enjoy flavorful, spiced traditional African dishes and experience the vibrant culture of Wakanda through its food.

  • The Flavors of Wakanda marketplace in the Hollywood Backlot will serve traditional African dishes, while Shawarma Palace and Shawarma Palace Too will feature the Wakandan roasted pork wrap. Guests can also find Shuri’s gauntlet at select locations.

Shuri’s gauntlet, one of several drinking vessels guests will find at the Flavors of Wakanda marketplace, Shawarma Palace, Shawarma Palace Too and at select vending carts near Avengers Campus.

  • Super Store Featuring Avengers Campus located in Hollywood Land will feature props and costumes from the film, plus Black Panther-themed gear.

  • Downtown Disney District will display a special mural created by artist Nikkolas Smith, who previously created the art installation  “King Chad.” 

The “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” celebration begins Nov. 11, 2022, and will be available through Jan. 8, 2023, so come immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, flavors and POWER of Wakanda during this special chapter.
