Where To Eat in Fort Lauderdale: Bistro (Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel) Thursday 20 July, 2017
I had a beautiful stay at the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale hotel in which you can read here, but I also had a great meal. Their restaurant BISTRO was a great dining experience in which I had dinner so check out my review below.
BISTRO is the perfect blend of contemporary casual and thoughtful service. Embracing a beachy-chic look, the full-service restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner recently unveiled its redesigned space with white-washed wood floors and cool blue, leather furnishings and walls. Chef Russo created the new Bistro menus with the hotel guests in mind. Hedesigned the daytime menu to be fun and active for guests to enjoy outside or by the pool, while the dinner menu features more classic items.

I’m going to Fort Lauderdale next year and I’m trying to make a list of places to check out. I’m also making a list of restaurants to eat at. It looks like this needs to make it onto my shortlist.
The seafood looks so good. I haven’t had fresh shrimp since I left North Carolina. I miss being near the beach. We have been considering moving closer to the beach but we haven’t decided completely yet.

I have only been to the airport and cruise port in Fort Lauderdale thus far, but this restaurant sounds fantastic! You can never go wrong with seafood when eating at a spot near the water.
