
Where To Eat in Jekyll Island/St.Simons Island Friday 08 December, 2017

Its another travel trip where I share with you the foodie best of that city. This time you get a special treat of two islands of Jekyll & St.Simons Island (30 mins apart) and to show you all what is the best restaurants to eat. Yes although we visited Jekyll Island for the roadtrip, St.Simons was right across the bridge as well to include on our foodie travels. Check out the restaurants we sampled and the seafood delectable and unique flavors from each spot!

Corsair features locally inspired meals and cocktails in an open-air, oceanfront setting. The new restaurant at the all new Jekyll Ocean Club offers breakfast and lunch exclusively for Jekyll Island Club Resort guests, and dinner is open to the public.

The Corsair – peaches, prosciutto, shrimp, goat cheese, arugula

Smoked Peach Old Fashioned – blade & bow bourbon, smoked peach simple syrup, angostura bitters, orange zest, ice sphere

Fish Tacos – flour tortillas, peach salsa, cabbage slaw

Oh my this all looks amazing and I need to go there. Those scallops are my first order and then I want one of everything else. We were actually looking at going there next summer so I’ll get to try all this!
Looks like a great option to eat at Jekyll Island, I will have to share with my friends who may travel there soon. Love all of the menu options available.

All of it looks delicious but I would have to go with the asian style chicken salad for my first choice.

All these dishes look tasty. If I were to choose just one to sample first, I would go for the wasabi crusted tuna. Oh my goodness, so mouth watering!

All I can say is wow. All of this looks so delicious. I could eat everything on this menu. My mouth is watering at everything here including the peach Old Fashioned. IF I am ever in the area, I will have to check this out.

OOh as a vegetarian the dish that caught my eye was the BUTTERNUT SQUASH RAVIOLI with Brown Butter, Sage, Wilted Swiss Chard. I have to say that the desserts that you had chosen was equally droolworthy as well!

The seared scallops caught my husband’s eye while sitting on the other side of the couch, haha! Those aren’t quite my thing, but I’m all about the fish tacos! Looks like really delicious picks!

I’ve gone down to Jekyll but we didn’t explore the food scene. Planning to go back next summer so will keep this in mind.
