It’s finally hot outside! It’s hot outside and its time to enjoy some cool treats. Warm weather and cool treats! I am a big kid, I said this several times on the blog. I don’t have kids yet, but I am a kid a heart. I will never stop chasing the ice cream man, I will always want some ice cream or a Popsicle! My favorite are bomb pops! You know the great American popiscle! Well anyways…

Can I enjoy my Bomb Pop without teeth sensitivity?

You know how the American ice cream song goes…I scream, you scream…we all scream for ICE CREAM!! Yeah cute song, but why are we screaming for ice cream? I know out of excitement, but I know some of us are screaming because when we eat these cold treats it stings our teeth! We get brain freeze and teeth freeze! Those sucks…really bad. We shouldn’t be screaming for ice cream (or Popsicles in my case).Look I don’t know the remedy to brain freezes yet but I got a remedy for teeth freeze aka teeth sensitivity colgate-sensitive-smiles-blog-kiwi

I want to introduce you all to the new The Colgate Sensitive Toothbrush and Sensitivity Pen. This toothbrush is different than other toothbrushes because it has extra soft bristles and the sensitivity pen.  You can use regular toothpaste with the brush and and store the pen inside the toothbrush. This is a very new product to me, I didnt even know a product like this existed  for tooth sensitivity where we can buy this in stores versus going to the dentist. I tried this out and want to share some info about it. colgate-sensitve-smiles-kiwi-blog3 Once you are done brushing your teeth, you then twist the pen and a gel comes out.  You put the pen in the area that is more sensitive and brush for one minute and then not rinse.  The Actis Enamel Pen blocks sensitivity at the source of pain. Easy Application: Brush, Apply, Go.  It’s super easy and you will notice a difference right away. The longer you use it the formula in the gel will build up a barrier that will make your teeth less prone to sensitivity.
