Haven’t these past two years in a pandemic made you want to “scream”? Well it isn’t done as one of the most iconic horror films in movie history returns with SCREAM!
Yes the fifth installment of the iconic franchise, we join our favorite characters (Sidney Prescott, Dewey Riley and Gale Weathers) 25 years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro. A new killer has donned the Ghostface mask, and begins to resurrect secrets from the town’s past. So for 2022, the 90s reboot didn’t end it’s only just the beginning! Come on the return of Neve Campbell as Sidney is just making me want to scream out my window right now!

Synopsis:
Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past. Neve Campbell (“Sidney Prescott”), Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) and David Arquette (“Dewey Riley”) return to their iconic roles in Scream alongside Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Sonia Ammar.

I did used to enjoy the scream movies when I was younger but I am definitely not a horror lover now as I’m too jumpy. Maybe I’ll wait and watch this one at home x
Huge fan of Ghostface and the Scream/ Stab universe; all the new twists and some good scares. Always great fun to root for Sydney, Dewey and Gale. Love to see what the Ghostface killer(s) throw at the characters. And celebrate the legacy of Wes Craven.
I am a HUGE fan of the SCREAM films, and of course, GHOSTFACE! As well as the original cast. And looking forward to seeing the new cast as well. I’m so nostalgic that I have my very own Mancave that includes the scream films on DVD when DVD’s was all the rage!
I have so many fond memories of watching the Scream movies all the way from age 7, and now at 32 I have just been to see the new movie and it is incredible. The new cast feels so genuine and like they really belong in this franchise. It’s great to see them holding their own alongside the originals. Scream will always hold a special place in my heart.
I love horror films, and Scream was a favorite of mine when I was a teenager. I’m so glad Neve Campbell came back to do this movie, she looks amazing! It would not have been the same without her.
The Scream franchise itself is just so nostalgic. The 90s slasher that reinvented the horror genre. I am so excited to see the legacy characters return and see how they can help the new ones that are being introduced!

I am super excited to see the movie! It’s my birthday weekend and I have seen the other movies and am hoping to go either tomorrow or Sunday with my daughter! The movies really bring me back to the 90’s when hubby and I were dating and we went to the original movie for one of our first dates!

I collected so many different Ghostface masks and even found left over Scream merchandise, such as the Scream tie or string light set, at random party stores over the years. You can’t help to love the return of Sidney, Gale and Dewey, paired with a new cast, trying to solve another ‘who done it’ of murders by Ghostface. This is the ultimate, most successful, horror franchise! So happy and grateful to see they made a new Scream film!
I’m so excited for the new Scream. I started watching the first movie at sleepovers when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade, and instantly loved it! I was obsessed. It’s all I wanted to watch, and it’s all I talked about. The trailers for this one looks incredible! Plus, I love how much the new directors want to honor Wes by making this film. It’s gonna be a killer of a good time!

I watched these movies back in the day but mainly because everyone else did. LOL I am not a huge horror fan but these are classics in many ways.
